Re: Full size KK cabinet with Cobalt Blue tile insert

What temp can the tiles/grout handle? I'm thinking about what could safely be placed on the surface...

I'm sure you're not thinking about lighting or tossing burning coals up on this table top..

I'm confidant that they can handle any cooking related temps..

The insulation material is designed for spike temps over 500º..

The tiles were glazed at super high temps so they are completely safe..

Probably asking about putting a hot pan or similar on top, right out of the cooker. Or maybe concerned about how stunning the table is, and all the hot looks of envy it's gonna get! :happy8:

Ever thought of shipping the tables with no insert? I'm

Thinking it might be cheaper to ship and let people source their own granite slab. A simple rectangle shouldn't be too expensive.

I'm fine with shipping them without the stone.. Much easier for us and I'm guessing it's readily available and much better selection Stateside. Maybe I should only ship them without the insert..

Dennis, how would shipping a table sans stone affect the price?

Re: Full size KK cabinet with Cobalt Blue tile insert

HI Dennis. Great cabinet photos.

I'd like to order just the tiles. Ones that match my KK.

I'm building my own outdoor teak cabinet. I am recycling some old kitchen cabinet doors that are solid teak. Just a simple cabinet, using the existing rectangle door shapes

If I can purchase the tiles from you, I'll just set the tiles on the cabinet surface and have my heat proof surface.

Let me know if this is doable. It's Dark Metallic Bronze.

And if we're doing a shipment anyway, can you ship come coconut coal up to Vancouver, Canada?

Thanks
