jcb
I have to part with my smoker. I know it is not a Komodo Kamado but thought someone here might tell me what it's worth and best way to sell it.. Craig's List or Ebay best?

jcb
Re: What should I sell this for? I'm moving to a much smaller home with a very very small yard area with no room for it
cruzmisl
Re: What should I sell this for? I'd say a few hundred bucks and that's being very generous (for you). "Free to good home" would be better. That way when it falls apart they won't make a visit to your house in the middle of the night to exact revenge
LarryR
Re: What should I sell this for? Many of you may remember the unit I bought off of Trish before I stepped up to the KK. If memory serves me correctly I sold it for what I paid for it, about $425. This was just over two years ago I believe.
tony b
Re: What should I sell this for? I gave my old POSK up for adoption (i.e. free) to a member of my homebrew club that helped moved the KK onto my deck (up 8 stairs!). He got 3 cooks out of it and went to move it into the garage and the neck crumbled into pieces. Fortunately, the top hat didn't break. I had shown him the cracks at the 3 spider legs and warned him. He'd actually ordered the new collar piece when it happened. No hard feelings. He went into it eyes wide open. He's a handy sort and I'm sure he'll have it patched up and running again as soon as his collar arrives. If yours is in better shape than mine was, a couple hundred bucks would be a fair price. Fyodor
Re: What should I sell this for? I agree with LarryR's price, assuming intact top hat, firebox, and lower damper. Looks to be in fine condition; do you know how old it is?
