There were features that were only going to be in the Supreme package that I just could not leave out so I just thru them in (no charge)

rorkin Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 I really don't see the point of the small ring.. I just fill er up , and when done close off the KK . This leaves lots of remaining charcoal for the next cook. I don't think it really saves anything.. The amount consumed over the time of the cook at a given temp and air flow is probably independent of the charcoal load. For what its worth Rory
Fetzervalve Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 The one time I did use it (mistakenly on my first cook) it cost a few hours sleep as the lump outside the basket didn't completely light and I had some low temp alarms AARRG.
