  3. Nice.

I've never laid out a time line like that. Will be interesting to hear about the time line results and weather you got it right or what you would change next time.

My time lines are more like this.

"Here drink this, refills are plentiful, diner will be ready in a while." Hours later guests are intoxicated so they can't tell if it tastes crappy anyway - LOL

Yep.. never know when it will be..
  4. Get a crocker sack (Burlap)

Soak sack in Old Bay and water(bout a hour).wring sack .not too much tho..put Oysters in sack and put on grill..it will steam them

  5. Cracker bites cook test. The goal was to figure out the optimum configuration and temperature to cook Cracker bites so the cheese melts without the Cracker crust cooking further. This has nothing to do with what was the actual toppings other than the cheese. In both tries the pizza stone was up in the dome on a custom riser. First try. Heat soaked at 500* with cold pizza stone. Somewhat of a failure as they had to stay on to long to melt the cheese. This caused the pizza stone to heat up and burn some of the Cracker crust. 86d271a864fd1984eff42709e6c79eba.jpgSecond try. Heat soaked at 600* with cold pizza stone. This is the winning combination. Cheese melted fast enough so the Cracker crust did not cook any further beyond the original parbake. 066859618d8218793d0f34eeb2ae46b6.jpgLater in the week I'll tie that into a flavor profile test before I make my final cook. CC and tinyfish - you 2 need to ignore all this - LOL - and these tests won't be posted on the Guru.

These were def a very good snack...coarse there were enough for a meal..thanks baby..very good cook

  7. Being a Yankee I like my breakfast Grits with sugar.

Kills Mrs skreef every time I do it. She's a true Southern Country Girl. For her Grits with sugar is about as close to a mortal sin as one can get - LOL

Yea..I was a waitress in my early twenties and I see then my first time when a whole family came in..who I figured were yankees..cause they ask me "what was a Grit" ...so as a good waitress I explained but in the mean time waiting on other customers he pour sugar in his grits

And as a Southerner I had to say " A true Southerner dont put sugar in there grits"

I never thought I would marry a True Northener..but some how we make it work.Right ckreef??
