  2. I have tried many ways to keep my grates clean even putting them in an industrial cleaner specifically designed for stainless steel oven grates .that worked great until my next cook lol I just use a mixture of vinegar and water now spray it on when they are cold and use aluminum foil to scrub them with or do a pizza cook then a high heat clean if you mix some vinegar with some baking soda and let them rest in a container over night that does the job as well I would refrain from using anything that may put pits or groves in the steel as they will only get baked in crud

  3. Sounds great have seen a few rub recipes on the net that sounds interesting if all else fails you could buy a few taco packs and use the stuff that comes with that .I have not done any Mexican dishes besides tacos .I remember almost throwing up when I tried taco bell in the states lol

  5. I still love the look of the 23 the most. I love having the large grill space of the 32 but the 23 just has that look.  It is functional and will do everything that you throw at it.  What tile are you leaning towards?

Hope everything gets sorted out for you buddy, you are going to love this purchase

Cheers bosco I actually love the the look of yours like the pebble but Dennis was not to sure on the avalibiity he was going to send me some pics of what they have in stock .when he gets the tiles they are not exactly the same some are darker so they put them to side and the tiles that match the most are saved until their is enough to tile a komodo I'm pretty sure that's what he said when he rang me I was in a lift just finished some shopping and had to run to my car because it was raining then talked to him in the car

  6. OK I found on the top if I was not careful they would slide around anyway they are a great product leave the best grill marks I know that is not everything but when you want to show off to mate it's everything lol

  7. That is nice it allowed me configure them for my 19" and can reconfigure them to work on the 16.5". The only drawback is they can slide around on each other. Brad at Grill Grates did mention that they were trying to come up with some type of clip but haven't tested a design they really like.

Yeah that is the only poblem I see with them .clips would be good can you put them on a lower great so they are a bit more snug to the sides and adjust the temp that's what I do on the Joe have no idea with a kk

  9. @Aussie Ora - Welcome aboard, Mate!  I'm glad to see you over here.  Have you thought about what color and what size works best for your foray into the KK world?  You'll love it when it happens, Mate!  This is a great place and Friend, you'll fit right in!

Hey CC I have the 23 set in my sights I think it will do me well can still do normal cooks for 2 with the splitter and give me the capability to do more when required hopefully my business gets sorted out sooner than later
