Tucker Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 We decided to do some rotisserie chicken today. I needed a drip pan that would allow the heat to get to the chicken, so I made this... [the beer is for relative size only ]. It sits right on top of the fire box handles. Here are the birds... before and after. They are presently cooling while we make the biscuits and gravy, yum.......

PaulR Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Strangely enough it cleans easily using a quick handwash I thought it would be "hard" but it isn't? It's slightly too big to fit my ozzie dishwasher (not sure about the size of dishwashers in the US?)

Not sure either, but they are probably bigger. I had a student in my class last week that was working towards his Australian citizenship. We were having a pretty humorous discussion about the cultural differences since he was originally from USA. When I passed out shirts at the end of the class, we got educated about the difference in clothing sizes The guy had also brought a BIG empty suitcase to buy clothes here because they were so much cheaper
Tucker Posted February 4, 2008 Author Report Posted February 4, 2008 Rotisserrie cleanup Rotisserrie clean up is a breeze. Disassemble and handwash. I recommend taking all of it apart, including the hold down rods from the wingnut shafts to get all the juices and H2O out.
