Big difference in before/after pic's. I did the same with my Kamado and it didn't burn off which demonstrates a big difference in the KK ceramic material vs. the Richard Johnson Portland cement posing as ceramic.

Can't wait to get the new KK!!!!

I worry about that happening every time I fire it up! That's why I ordered the KK and can't wait for it to arrive.
