Laurie gave me a second one for Christmas, for my New York apartment. Just before the sale, which is on through Jan 31. I just used it to keep an eye on my "reverse sear" shell steak. Dry aged from Fairway Markets; vacuum packed with salt, pepper, butter and heated in a Sous Vide water bath to 134 F. Then pan-seared and sauced with mushrooms, side of sweet plantains.
