Hi everyone - I had a Brain Freeze

Well....I apologize for the brain freeze I apparently had. I was actually considering the mexi version. But after spending so much time in the forums, and reading about the products extensively, I'm here for good. I've only discovered these great cookers about 2 weeks ago, and the mexi site was the first I seen. I thought they were the originals. BOY, was I wrong.

I don't think you realize how close to disaster you really were. I have owned both and can tell you there is no comparison aside from the fact that they have a similar shape. Welcome aboard.

I agree with cruzmis you CANNOT go wrong buying a KK. I also owned both a k and a KK. The KK is by far the best cooker I have owned.

A huge plus is dealing with a company that cares and answers your questions.

You really don't need anything extra. The KK comes with things that are extra at the other place. What comes in handy for me is the lower grill and the upper grill. (my upper grill is not nearly as nice as the new ones Dennis has made. I have one left over from my k
