  2. I have been on and off a couple of times over the last several years about buying a KK. I am right now seriously considering one and in fact am liking the new 32. Is a forklift required to get this in place? I am going to take down a deck and replace it with a patio. The 32 would be worse but how would you go about moving one of these to a different location as in if you were to move?

When watching the videos with that Rick Ault on the 3rd video when he is cooking the steak and scallops he has to move the scallops into the middle directly over the flame to finish them up quicker. When cooking on the KK direct, does the charcoal basket keep the direct heat confined so that the food needs to be directly over the middle of the basket and food around the outside of the cooking grate will take a long time?
  8. What did you do to get the outside so dark? I cooked a leg of lamb once and did not sear it and the outside almost looked uncooked.
  9. I cooked one before indirect at 325 or 350 I forget which it has ben so long and it came out excellent actually better than the top rounds I did.   10. I have tried Firefox and Opera but they don!t display everything on some websites and some forums in particular. I have talked to others that use them especially Firefox and certain things don!t display for them either on at least one forum. And I am told in that situation there is nothing you can do about it. So I went back to IE.
  11. Funny thing is they claim to be an open forum regardless of which cooker you own although they do look down on comparisons. Maybe the link to the KK forum was what did it.
  12. Just wanted to warn people. I received an email invitation from a woman I work with that is a close friend to join as a friend on a site called Tagged. She uses a nickname that is very unusual. I guess it is similar to My Space although I am really not familiar with either. I answered yes I am a friend and proceeded to fill in name and some other info and when I went to the next page it asked for my email and my email password saying it was so they could search my contacts for members of Tagged in my contacts. No way was I going to give them my email address so I stopped the registration and sent her an email through regular email. I was curious so I did a search and found the website and when I went there it immediately said I was registered but I never completed the form. There was her profile under a message I received but all the icons showed profile no longer available when I ran the mouse pointer over them. I searched for her profile exactly as it appeared in the email I received but it came up as not found. I sent her another email explaining everything that happened and she responded saying she had not emailed me at all and that she had heard a similar story from others. She has changed all her passwords. I don!t know if this is Tagged that is responsible or if someone accessed her email contacts in some other way but I would guess that is what happened and then emails were sent to everyone in her contacts list to join as a friend on Tagged. Funny if someone did that from elsewhere that they would try and enlist people as friends of Tagged. Also the registration asking for your email password. I am staying clear of Tagged and would recommend that others do too.

A guy I work with who sells on Ebay said a while back the guy at the post office told him after the new year that they would no longer offer parcel post but asking a couple of guys at different post offices just before the end of the year they say they had not heard that. The explanation given to him was that UPS adjust their pricing to gas prices rising but theirs were locked in for a period of time so when the gas went up they were taking a beating. Have not checked with the post office since the new year but it seems like they all would have known about it if it were true so unless I hear it was I would have to believe it was not.
  15. 10 oz pkg frozen broccoli 2 chicken breast cooked or leftover chicken or turkey or adjust to amount you like. you can use slices, pieces or cube it 2 cans of cream of chicken soup (as is from can) 1 cup mayonnaise 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 6 pieces of bread cubed 4 tbs butter or margerine melted Heat oven to 350 Grease 9 x 13 baking dish with butter or margerine cook broccoli as directed on package, drain. arrange broccoli in prepared baking dish layer chicken over broccoli in small bowl, combine soup, mayonnaise and lemon juice and mix well. spread over chicken. sprinkle with cheese in small bowl combine cubed bread (soft crumbs)and melted butter or margerine sprinkle over top bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until thoroughly heated 6 servings
