Ingredients for 1 leg of lamb (about 8 portions) 1 leg of lamb (without the shank), boned, and butterflied For the wet rub: 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses 4 cloves coarsely minced garlic 1 tbsp fresh chopped rosemary 1 tsp Aleppo pepper, or other red pepper flakes to taste 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper 1 tbsp kosher salt 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp dried mint- or cilantro Did this over the Christmas holiday and here's my version: So here's my take on this recipe, first followed recipe to the tee except didn't use mint I find mint is only good in candy and getting rid of mice never liked it with lamb. So replaced it with cilantro instead was going to spin it on my Jumbo Joe but got lazy and did in oven. This has to be the best leg of lamb I have tried and my family which consist of mom, sister, brother-in law, and nephew loved it. I will do again and will use grill next time it was simple to do and well worth the time. A few pictures before I wrapped and took to my mom's thanks' for looking! Garvin

I love sweet potatoes and when I do this recipe I will bake instead of boil preserves more of the taste and sweetness! Garvin Ingredients for 8 large, 16 medium, or 32 slider-sized rolls: For sponge: 1 package (2 1/2 tsp) dry active yeast (I used Fleischmann's “RapidRise” Yeast) 1/2 cup warm water 1/2 cup AP flour Then add: 1 cup mashed orange sweet potato (also sold as yams) 2 tsp honey 1 1/4 teaspoons fine salt 1 large egg 3 tablespoons melted butter 3 to 3 1/2 cups flour AP flour, as needed to form the right texture dough (see blog post) - Bake at 400 F. for 15 minutes, or until browned. Large buns may take an extra few minutes, and the sliders-sized may take a minute or two less.

Was it straight Soju or was it mixed, for me it was always mixed with fruit punch of all things and it's a slow creep of a drunk. The first time I had it I was drinking with friends and was saying how weak it was because I didn't feel anything until I got up to go to the restroom then BOOM fubar!! Fubar= F****d Up Beyond All Recognition Garvin

Pretty cool!

With your background I would go with the black pebble and it will match pretty good with what you already have. Garvin

I will read up more on the fodder system have seen some on youtube, for me being single would say two females and one male is adequate or a single female and male? Garvin
-
Yeah, caught it from you, halfsmoke, and ckreef-lol Really thought my next one was either going to be Weber Summit, KJ classic or Primo round!! Garvin

The 16.5 was me thinking make sure you will love this, but with what MacKenzie said and the others doesn't make sense to spend on that when the 19 is just few hundred more. I pretty sure I will love it but as I said in previous posts I sometimes over think things. Garvin

Bosco everything you said makes sense but I do have to wait until May before I make the jump into KK ownership. If the 22's are still available at that time something to consider.

Beautiful shepherd, has she had surgery before!? Cats have a way of taking care of themselves get a kitten she will love it! Garvin -
Thanks for responding the 19 isn't that much more in price than the 16.5 and has more extras that I can get, the 19 was the one that caught my eye first. Now is the green I want or that black pebble?

So I spent half my lunch on Komodo Kamado site looking at the grills again, and I was thinking about baby steps in when a baby starts to walk the steps are small at first then slowly gets wider or larger depends on how you look at that. So I started looking at the 16.5 KK and said Garvin(yes I talk to myself sometimes)maybe you should get one of these first then move up to a larger size, so I looked at the options that come with the smallest KK and saw that the list was not as large as the others but saw a solid hex/square roti motor shaft and a solid square/square roti shaft but no basket or rod for roti cooking. Is there a roti basket and if not why have these as an accessory item? Still loving that green glass color but the black pebble is starting to creep ahead of it, another reason to get this size first is space in the backyard and building a cinder block table would be easy task and cheaper on the wallet. What do you ladies and germs think about me starting small then moving up to maybe 19 or 23 later any advice is welcome. Garvin

Sounds like a Dennis or Bosco question good luck and can't wait to see what is or if it's needed for anything! Garvin

When I was station in Korea this was my favorite dish to eat after a night of heavy soju drinking and just good overall: Ingredients 1 lb. lean ground beef or pork 1 onion, finely chopped 1 cup finely chopped cabbage (about 1/2 of a small cabbage head), parboiled 1/2 cup tofu (1 cake), chopped 4 oz mung bean or sweet potato noodles, soaked and then chopped 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 tbsp sesame oil 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper 1 package circular mandoo wrappers (or Japanese gyoza or Chinese wonton wrappers) Preparation In a large mixing bowl, gently combine meat, onion, cabbage, tofu, and noodles. In a separate bowl, combine garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Pour seasoning mixture over meat and vegetables and mix with hands to combine. Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of dumpling wrapper. Dip your finger in water and wet the outside edge of the top half of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper up to close and then crimp the edges. Repeat until the filling is gone. You can steam, boil, fry, or saute the dumplings as you wish. Serve with basic dipping sauce or a spicy sauce. We would use just ketchup! And they were always fried.. Garvin
