  1. Also big thnx for the info and pics, my lid won't stay up noticed today and am out to remedy the problem.

Had to move it from its spot, had it on pavers which eventually subsided due to its heft. New slab and some talavera tiles (on their way).

Been 3+ yrs and the 32 still brings a smile to my face every time i walk out into the backyard

  2. Hi Paul...just my 2cents....ive done a few roti cooks in my 32 with the basket split length ways like this IMG_0878.thumb.JPG.021469f62dda9941b3924008f8a7c18b.JPGIMG_0892.thumb.jpeg.185c2ab1ebb8974423c338cc4a8b7d06.jpeg

using a few SS pegs to keep these pieces in situ.

Have since learnt to put the fuel in the back section now. Do all my picanha, chook and lamb chop cooks without any alfoil or deflectors, sorry i'll put some alfoil on the empty side to keep that area cleanIMG_1118.thumb.JPG.da6c6d6a8ab9b52aa0bfcea872f25209.JPG

The KK's depth allows you to do so, long as your running a reasonable temp.IMG_0883.thumb.JPG.d6c2f17715c5c2be22cf277eec855bc9.JPG

@alimac23 inspired Triple R chicken underway. That’s Roti’d Roadside Roadkill chicken in a basket. Using the Meater, of course. Shaker bottle of roadside mop to baste it as it spins

Do all my roti's with a split basket length-ways, fuel towards the back now. ali's down the middle and your a full basket.

Just wondering if there'd be any difference....maybe not.IMG_0888.thumb.JPG.b32d61588110025b348a6c2cbf43d399.JPGIMG_1119.thumb.JPG.c7b00a47d81c386a44d4d4b1968b6d24.JPG

  5. Also interested in your rub, doing a brisket for our annual Anzac Day/poker day...got a nice Nimbin Grass Fed Wagyu - Brisket i'm putting on.

Never tried the high heat way so would work out perfect with the early rising to attend the dawn service on the day. :smt028
