Like our names (Alohapiggy and Pequod) are in blue. Some names are in red, white and green.

Hi, I’m new to this forum I was just curious everyone names seems to be in different colors. Is there a specific reason for each color?

I was also think low and slow to cook something then heat it up then make some pizzas or steaks at @500 degrees. It all depends on what time delivery happens.

Since i have to vent @500 degrees I might buy a few pre made pizzas from Papa Murphy’s cook them as my first cook.

The Shipping company just sent me a tracking number. Everything is on time and arrival is Sunday. The delivery is still open but the shipping company said they will contact me on Monday for delivery dates and times.

So I was told that my grill was on a boat. I was super excited so I called the shipping company. The shipping confirmed my grill is somewhere in the middle of the ocean. Their saying the boat will arrive this Sunday. I can’t wait to see it and used it.

Out of curiosity how much is a box of charcoal?

It’s hasn’t shipped yet but I’ll probably wait on the other accessories my wife is watching our bank accounts like a hawk hahaha.

Good point about shipping. I didn’t get the rotisserie but I did get the pizza stone. The only thing I regret not ordering was the side tables and charcoal. I didn’t see the charcoal on the website. So maybe next year side tables and charcoal

I didn’t get the roto. I ended up selling my to my friend. So he’s letting me use till I get my KK. There’s no lava on my island haha.

Kamado cookers aren’t to popular where I live so there’s always an abundance of lump charcoal at the stores.

The sale ends on 5-15-19. I wish the workers at the stores took better care of the charcoal. Every time I pick a bag of charcoal it seems as if some worker did the Mexican hat dance all of the bags of charcoal.

I got a 21 in metallic bronze. I only have/had one grill my large BGE. It was a perfect size for me. I bought a Ps wood rack with upper extension to give me more room. I think the 21 is the same size as the large BGE so it should work out fine.

I hate to admit this but I’m glad I sold my egg. Don’t get me wrong great grill and it started my passion for Kamado cooking. But my gasket (not even a year old) needs to be replaced and my base and fire box have hair linecracks. I know BGE has a fantastic warranty but I really hate taking it apart. To me it’s a hassle cause mine sits in a table. It’s so damn difficult to get the dome and base lined up correctly.

I can’t wait I plan on taking few days off when it arrives. My friend actually purchased my egg and he wants it very soon. So I probably won’t barbecuing for while which sucks. So when my grill arrives it will used a lot.
