  1. Looks good Jon, I may get a 16 first while on my way to the 32. I can get to 2,000 quicker than 6,000. And I can still cook on my egg with the 16"TT until I get to my 32bb. Thx. For your help.
  2. Thanks Jon, big help. Have you done any pork butts yet? If so, what size, and how long was the cook on the 16"? Thx.
  3. That will be fine, thx. I'm basically trying to find out would it be beneficial for me to go from my large egg 18" to a 16TT For starters. And then add a 32bb later on down the line. The body of the egg, excluding the lid doesn't seem to be far off from the 16TT as far as measurements are concerned. It's really bigger than I thought.
  4. so is the 16TT 16×16? I also sent you a message on your feed.
  5. Thanks for the view Mackenzie looks good
  6. I could be wrong but with the exception of the egg lid, I was measuring my egg against the 16TT on the website. Egg is 18", but the inside width of the fire ring is 16" leaving 2" overhang over the fire ring. The width and depth is not far off either. Didn't realize the 16TT was that big. Egg weighs almost 170lb. Versus 216lb. Question: Has anyone went from a large egg to a 16TT. Please explain your experience or anything that I said that might be wrong. I still want the 32 but might start with the 16 if it's just a tad smaller than the egg. Thanks for any responses and for reading.
  7. Hey Jon b. I measured my Lrg.egg today in comparison to the 16". Did not realize it was a tad smaller than the egg in dimensions. Didn't realize it was that big. How many pork butts can you cook at one time?

You should be able to put at least 4 12-14" st.louis style ribs top and bottom right?

Can you show food pic. Please if you can? Thx.

  8. Thanks Jon b. For the pictures, just what I wanted to see. So it actually will cook on three levels correct?
  9. Thanks MacKenzie looks good. I have a large egg 18", and a mini egg 10". It's small but she holds her own. So Dennis must have started selling them again.
  10. I thought it was discontinued from the line up, but now it's for sale again. Can someone please show me the inside of their bambino or maybe food being cooked on it. It's only 2"inches shorter in diameter than the large bge. I would love to see the inside. Thanks.
  11. That is so funny, I know I'm several months late but I just happened to read this post.
  12. That's funny Steve you got me laughing visualizing about where did I last use it.
  13. I like that explanation tyrus.
  14. Ckreef, I almost gave you props for that "Until" I thought about it. Now two KK's will cook more than 1 KK but not necessarily better. 2 kk's being 1 color has to cook on it's own individual merit, producing a particular quality of food. When a chameleon cooks the quality of the food is better because of the natural changing of color on the grill. The foods taste gets better, it doesn't go backwards. Everyone says the food is better on "A KK", singular. Seeing we're talking about the 4 in 1, 4 different colors 4 different qualities of food.😏 George Forman don't count, it's a inside counter top cooker. Can't compare to the kk. You guy's are trying but you gotta do better than that. Much love!!
  15. Mr. B Grant that is artificial coloring from the different seasons. Therefore not allowing your cooker to have good air flow. To much pollen and red clay dirt is not good for your KK. You need a chameleon that has an original color change 🤔 just consider it.
  16. I'm currently in the process of buying a home first, you know first things first. But she will throw down when I get her😃
  17. It has been said that squares/tiles cook better, and this/that color cooks better. "Point Taken". Now from someone who doesn't have their 32BB yet or any KK for that matter. Let me tell you which KK cooks better. Mine is going to cook better because it's going to be the latest one shipped and the most recent delivered. And it's going to be chameleon tile color if it's available when I purchase. Now here is why they cook better in my less than 1/2 % opinion. First of all, everyone that has solid color kk's cook well but not as well, look good but not as good. There is one exception "Royal Blue Tile/Pebble that's a sweet looking chic right there. Ok, back to my 1/2% scenario. Solid colors are one color, cooks one way although the food is superb. Remember, my 1/2% haven't tasted food off the kk yet, but can't wait I'm already sold. I'm a 11yr.egghead. Now, let's take the chameleon tile. Here is why it cooks better. You get 4, minimum 3 color grills in 1 It changes colors according to the ambient light,"Per Dennis" Gottcha. Hello😉 So now, #1. In the morning it's one color, food taste good. #2. Afternoon it's another color, food taste better. #3. Evening it's another color, food taste even better. Last but not least, #4. Cloudy/Rainy day another color. I'll be dog gone if that food isn't just absolutely delicious. You gotta be kidding me, I can taste it now. So depending on what day you come to my house rain or shine you could see 4 different 32BB grills. And be asking what happened to the other one that you had? This is why the chameleon tile cooks better hands down. Now ladies and gentlemen this is my less than 1/2% facts that I have stated here "No longer an opinion." We will all be grown up about these facts and we will all agree from here on out about which color cooks the best. My claim to fame is the "4 in one" cooks the best. So let's all say it together, Which one cooks the best? "The 4 In One".
  18. You got that right, you know I'm reading and listening.
  19. Haven't gotten my kk yet but when I do it will be the 32, I'll get the 2 zone and all that from jump street. So I won't have to up size later. With 5 kids and 2 adults, a 32 sounds just right and especially for the versatility.
  20. You ought to be ashamed of yourself Jon b. Snap out of it. didn't mean to say Tony b. At first. My bad😬
  21. Thanks Dennis for your input that really makes sense. And I thank everyone that has given their input on this topic.
  22. Where do you live, in Raleigh or close to it in that direction?
