  2. Thank you for your reply that sounds like a win win situation.
  3. Thanks Dennis, I'll be calling you soon.
  4. I'm considering buying the 23kk now before getting the 32 down the road. So I took the tape measure outside to my large bge. And I compared the measurements of the 23 to the egg and said WOW!!! I measured every which way but loose. No comparison, that 23 is huge. I want to see one now before I purchase. If anyone is around Columbia S.C. I sure would like to see yours if possible. I would drive a few hours if necessary.
  5. Hello everyone, I am interested in seeing a 23kk in or around the Columbia S.C. area. I am willing to drive a few hours if necessary. I am considering buying one but I sure would love to see one in person first. Thanks in advance for any help. I live in Sumter S.C. Peace, Lance
  6. I'm trying to tape measure out the size of a 23 grate compared to my 18" Big Green Egg. And I want to know how wide the grate is in the back. This 23 is no joke!! Seems huge. A lot of cooking space. Thanks for your help.
  7. Sorry I meant to say grate
  8. What is the width of the 23 main grid in the back
  9. Thank you all for your input
  10. Ohh shucks!! Just "Give Me" a pebble and a square KK and I'll let y'all know which one cooks better. I couldn't help myself!!
  11. Can't afford the 32bb right now, so I'm considering a 22 or a 19. I would really appreciate it if someone can show me some pictures of food cooking on their 22's for a perspective. Also of your 16TT. Thanks in advance.
  12. I know you enjoyed them, they look good Ben.
  13. @ckreef Well said, easy to be understood. Pictures says alot. Thx.
  14. @ckreef so you're saying the floor of the 16 is very thick taking the place of the fire box in the bigger units? So therefore the side walls of the 16TT can hold it's own as far as the high heat concerned?
  15. @MacKenzie thx for the better view I appreciate it.
  16. @MacKenzie thx for the reply, but to your knowledge is the plate laying in the charcoal basket more like an "L" shape? Being attached to the inside of the basket at the opening of the vent? Therefore the plate burns with every cook. I'm just a little confused. I would like to see a inside view from the opposite angle. Because if the plate is keeping the charcoal from going out isn't it also obstructing the air flow from coming in freely? That's where I'm confused. Thx for your input MacKenzie.
  17. @Jon B. hey Jon, in that 2nd picture what is that silver plate sticking inside the charcoal basket? Just curious.
  18. You got that right Tony, you know how KK owners do. And KK wannabes "that's me"😎
  19. Will do Tony, we are currently house hunting so it'll be minute before I make that leap.
