    Hello

http://www.kamadofraudforum.org Wow, if you were luck enough to get your K replaced as recently as last month, you better go buy some lottery tickets
  2. I never clean after a cook...I prefer to clean after the mess has burned into something less messy than goo, like charred bits. If it was a really messy cook, then I open the grill to run up the temps for a few minutes before shutting down, to help it burn everything out. That makes cleanup the next time much easier. BTW, since the grill is closed, with only the polder hole to allow entry, critters are no problem. If they are, you arent cooking enough
  3. What?? Why not spend that csh on a decent hood and exhaust, so you can put a KK in that opening?

    Hello

Wow, Don...Im Impressed, you got a replacement out of RJ. Lemme guess, you waited a year and had to pay $400-500 for shipping to get it ...All I got was the silent treatment, posts removed and accounts deleted So have you found the other forum yet, where you can post your experience and pictures of your naked POSK? BTW, whats the crack situation on your number #9? My #5 is riddled with a roadmap of cracks!
  5. I put mine off til Thursday mornign when I will be home to accept it. There will be smoke to your south this weekend though!
  6. Guru sleeve how about a couple more pics of your guru setup? Yous cleeve is flush with the grill, is that its final resting place? Im curious as the other pics i have seen show the longer tube, and other discuss cutting it shorter. I am considering the options while I consider buying a Guru or Stoker. Dennis, you have any plans to get into the temp controller business? I think shotgun Fred may have went to the Johnson school of customer service, from what I have seen on their forum?
  7. Since you bring up feuds, my lineage includes a nice one, too. My cousin did much research on his geneology, and in talking one day, he told me of the Greene-Jones War, which happened in Northeastern TN in the 1890s. That was my Moms side of the family. I read the story and newspaper accounts from some of his various books, and the whole thing started over one of the Greene's hogs eating most of the Jones corn mash from the still. The "war" lasted several years. I think one of the most entertaining of the news stories was when on one morning, a bunch of members of one clan circled a house of the other clan, and ordered them to send out the women and childred so they could get to the business of battle. The article said over 3000 shots were fired that morning, but only a couple of people were actually shot. Now since that is in my genetics...I wonder if it could be a viable defense for starting a war with RJ over my cracked up POSK
  8. Well, I ahve been following your example this week!
  9. not that I have heard...but I spent all day on the beach, so maybe they did
  10. clarification... Just heard from Dennis that one of the 2 SS lined heat deflectors should go to DJ, while the true baking stones will go out soon.
  11. Nah....we strap it to a gator and make him mush it around the house
  12. Yeah, I may not be there to collect the prize, but I think my horse is going to cross the line first Only 20 miles to go...Watch these last 20 miles take as long as it did to span the USA If I was home, I would go and pick it up, just for DJ.
  13. It left Mobile, AL at 518PM on Saturday....off to the next stop. Looks like my driver is dropping the hammer compared to yours Mobile, AL to Clermont FL =421 Mi St Louis, MO to Augusta, GA = 702 Mi
  14. Turtle, you are close enough fort the inaugural cook. Come on over! It might not happen until Friday or Saturday, since I am traveling I have a feeling m charcoal consumption is about to increase significantly
  15. Yep...You see the upper, and lower grills in the 3/8" flavor. The main grill in in the cooker - currently in Dallas, TX according to the latest entry in the tracking log.
  16. Indeed Paul,I asked her to take a pic showing each side. I am guessing that if you cook with the heat deflector SS side up, it makes for easy cleanup?
  17. The feature list shows SS lined heat deflector and 16" ss lined baking stone. I am guessing thats why there are two. They look identical to me, but I cant say for sure - you guys have seen all I have in the pictures I posted.
  18. Roll of stuff is gasket material... Here are some new pics of the SS lined stones and the pan.
  19. Go ahead and chaw it up there, buddy. You see those boxes in the upper left of one of the pics?? Well, thats for you - Im supposed to fwd it along...Kind funny how long I am out of state now, isnt it
  20. A couple of boxes full of bright and shiny things arrived today. My squaw was kind enough to take a couple of pictures for me, since I wont be home until Wednesday. It looks like there are some nifty grill lifters in there...I dont recall ever seeing those before This may also be the first glimpse of the new SS lined stones and SS drip pan I had to post some pics so DJ would know I got mine before his
  21. It is indeed a port for you to insert temp probes. The hole is so small it will be of no consequence when you are not using a guru or wireless thermometer.
