Pat pat, Turtle! I think you soothed the jangled sensibilities. Of course there's only one Larry. We'll talk Curly down off the ledge, take the kool aid out of his hand, and it'll all be ok.
-
I think you might have it figured out. Let's just stay in that happy place a little longer, though, just in case.Hmm, I sorta hoped that, then I saw what looked like a Guru in the last pic...and I know Larry doesn't cook with a GuruSo I'm still a bit baffled. So, he's showing his own black volcanic as a tribute to Larry...the original, right?
OK, I'm in my happy place now
-
Wait a minute' date=' you can't just buy one of those things and name it Larry can you. Does Dennis have the name list and send out the documentation and birth certificate and all? Is'nt Larry Pork Chop's black volcanic's name? Dude...that's just wrong [/quote']Curly, I think it's ok. The photos were a TRIBUTE to Larry - the one and only. Not that the photos were of a NEW Larry. Like dressin up and sayin yer doin an Elvis tribute. Not that you ARE Elvis, or calling yourself Elvis.
To Larry! Long live the King!

Here's the thread. http://www.komodokamado.com/forum/viewt ... creenLooks like design got pretty close to finished. Why not PM Dennis and ask about it?A little off topic but what ever happined to the screen for the bottom damper to prevent hot coals from rolling out.. So far this problem has started a real life fire --documented hereI think it should move to the top of the availability list. Once again.. if it is available it is a secret on how to get.

That's prolly Thanksgiving supper! Better get it on quick, or it won't be ready in time.
-
YEah' date=' we did that too. But now its microwave until crispy![/quote']Spam jerky.

Tweaked teak!

I think inventing things is great. And if we repeat them enough, they become "truth."
-
So, one of each is out, huh? No "his and hers"? Seems the only answer, if you ask me.
-
I want some! That little crispy chewy bit will be fine, thanks.
-
Oooh. Couldn't figger out what you meant, or who it were deeeerected to. I told my mother today that she is prematurely blonde. Must be a caught it from her.You musta missed this small detail Council If we order it, and we can't mail order it, we gone haveta take a road trip to where it is.We currently sell our lump only at our store so don't try to mail order it from me.
-
drool...
-
What ARE you talkin about??y'know' date=' you should consider sending some to TNW! he has a huge, very well known, lump database with comparisons, etc. if you compare well on his site, you could sell alot of that stuff![/quote']Apparently, we'd all have to drive on over to the left sidei and pick it up at the store

John has learned the most important life lesson: Happy wife, happy life! Congrats on the new cooker, Mr. and Mrs. John! Enjoy it!
-
Apparently, so does the "toot your own horn" mod.Sweet! The new merge topics mod I added works great!-=Jasen=-
How soon until you get to get up and move around and all? Hope it's soon.
-
Great, Jasen, he's a victim of brisket rape. But you didn't answer the QUESTION!! What's the flappy thing? Does he just have a limp brisket (isn't that a rock band?)?

Re: Can I get one more measurement from someone?
Well, if you think of what he's doing, he has to make the cover decrease in size for the top of the dome. Where's that going to be? It appears from the dimensions and photos that Dennis posted that the "dome starts to curve" place is about 5 or 6 rows of tile up from bottom of the lid. Below that, the diameter is more or less the same as the widest part of the body of the cooker. So, measure from the ground to the part where the lid starts getting smaller/flatter, and that's the measurement he needs.I don't exactly know how to interpret this "...ground to where the curve on the dome starts" -
Prolly just likes me better.Hey DJ....Are you getting me mixed up with Sanny? My question was about displaying the most recent posts first in a thread. Must be good drugs. -
Pat pat. Yah. And TV will suck the brain right out of your head. You're smarter on the pain pills than you would be after a day of TV.What can I say, I am really, really bored. I can only watch so much TV and video games - hehehe. But 3 pills so far - hehehe - feeling very little pain!
-=Jasen=-
-
Jasen, hunny... Just how many of those little pain pills did you take today? Step away from the crayon box, punkin... It's for your own good.Gotta love these mad drawing skills - hahahaha! -
Oooh!! Yer getting Johnnyboy Jammies for your OTB? Good for you. He makes a wonderful cover!!
-
Who, me? I WANNA BISCUIT!!!bad sanny! no biscuit! looks like we have a "pack mentality" going on here! -
Re: done easily using a cat's paw..
Hmm... Maybe he has a dog, which would explain it. Nothing's done easily with a dog's paw.Boy' date=' I hope mine comes with that crate. I have had a belly full of those crates that take a day to open! [/quote']Removing the nails could be done easily using a cat's paw.. -
My bad. Of course no bands. I recall there was a choice of ss or powder coated exterior metal parts. That's what I meant. Of course. Unless I meant the Marine Corps Marching Band. And that could be it.Stainless steel bands are good. What Bands? The BEST ceramic cookers dont have bands!
A Tribute to the original Black Volcanic--Larry
