jehlinger
Finally delivered yesterday to work. Now I have to get it home. Hopefully my friend with a lift-gate can do it the next day or two.
PaulR
We had some storms last weekend and are having some more this weekend (this coal ship was too close to shore). This better not happen to the ship carrying my KK!!

jehlinger
now if that were Louisiana, they'd turn that ship into an apartment complex, but with the Aussies I don't know.
jdbower
but with the Aussies I don't know. It's probably some kind of brewery or still by now.
PaulR
It's definitely being "stirred". Yesterday they said the waves over in Newcastle were between 6 and 11 meters... hmm that should make it easy for the salvage team to get it off the beach. Yeah make it into a hotel (all rooms with waterviews!)
PaulR
Here's an update (live pictures of the ship): http://www.coastalwatch.com:80/camera/c ... &state=NSW Current forecast for the next 12 hours (19/06/07) Gale Force winds expected swell around Newcastle (where the ship is beached) 10-12 meters... Oops If they make it into a hotel it will be a wet one!!
