DennisLinkletter Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 If you have been waiting for more 2.2's here are the latest unsold ones shipped. This next week is the starting of the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan. As the workers are not in the best shape to work, we will be working only half days for the first two weeks and then off the last two weeks so the workers can go home to their villages. End result, I won't be shipping until early October. BTW I also built 5 blacks but they have all been pre-sold.
primeats Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 Any dark cobalt blue tiles coming over here anytime soon?
DennisLinkletter Posted August 23, 2008 Author Report Posted August 23, 2008 So this was to be a Black and Blue container.. Any dark cobalt blue tiles coming over here anytime soon? I'm all for mixing it up but historically the blue and black cookers sell.. So this was to be a Black and Blue container..
sumrtym Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Isn't that new brown selling well? Seems like everytime you've listed one, it hasn't been long before it wasn't available.
DennisLinkletter Posted September 21, 2008 Author Report Posted September 21, 2008 The great mistake.. Isn't that new brown selling well? Seems like everytime you've listed one' date=' it hasn't been long before it wasn't available.[/quote'] I purchase from a very large tile factory, there minimums are for over 125 cases per run which puts them out of my range. Therefore I purchase their overruns and colors they know I like they produce a little bit more of. I found the Autumn Nebula tile and started building with it and it was very popular. When they ran out and I asked about if they had any production scheduled, I found out they were all a mistake batch of another color tile! Yup, a great mistake. I've asked them to look into offering this spectacular mistake to their regular customers in hopes that they might order a container of it and I could buy the overruns.. Nothing back from them at present.. I will this week post this information I'm writing you and shots of the "actual tile: that spawned the A. Nebula. It has similar DNA but different tile.. less black. I'm building some now out of this new tile..

DennisLinkletter Posted September 22, 2008 Author Report Posted September 22, 2008 OK Dennis - Ramadan is slowly winding down... just eight more days to go! When's that next shipment coming my friend? Can you guys tell that I am on pins and needles? Ramadan is winding up.. Right now I don't have a definite ship date.. waiting for some additional grout/insulation to clear customs and I just recieved a few new orders.. They are working just not full day.. working afternoons without food or water in the heat just don't work..
Conodo12 Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 Ramadan is a special time and I get that. When I was saying that it was winding down, I meant until the last nights when the fast is lifted and Ramadan comes to a close. The culmination of most holiday seasons comes at the end of the season....
Ickkey Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Dennis, Please keep me posted on the Autumn Nebula tile. I fell in love with that mistake tile with the black blotches in it. That would be the tile I would like when I order my new ceramic grill from you folks!
spartanvet88 Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Same here I'm really interested i that color also.
jdbower Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 I think the candy bar just melted - sometimes the best inventions are accidental.
johnnyboy Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Due to my job I'm exposed to satellite/microwave sites from time to time. Although I'm not an operator, one once told me (he had a huge dish) he could toss a chicken in front of the dish and by the time it hit the ground would be fully cooked! Still impresses me to this day.
Conodo12 Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Believe it John! While in the Navy, I watched a radarman aim a dish at a pesky set of gulls at the end of a carrier deck. Gulls don't like the sight of other dead gulls. To say he had them scattering and the smell of roasted gull was in the air is an understatement!
Conodo12 Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Actually Jackie, gulls are more tasty than you might think!
