Cookie Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 Seems logical, although I'd want to know that the plastic was BPA free if doing it on a regular basis. Boiling water can make plastics release some bad stuff - so our baby books taught me a few years ago.

bgrant3406 Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 Watch out for the boiling water warping the plastic in the cooler. I use the 10 gallon round coolers for homebrewing and during cleanup transferred boiling water into one and warped the inside plastic badly. 1
