To quote a previous POTUS, "I feel your pain!"  

 

When my hard drive crashed a couple of years ago, I lost a several months worth of pics, including some of the KK when it arrived. Like you said, can't be redone. I was being slow in doing my backups to an external drive and was a couple of months behind. Won't make that mistake again.

That 6% beer can be a  killer.  

 

6% is a "regular beer" around here. You want to talk "high test," you need to go a lot higher than that! Hell, I just made an Imperial IPA that was 10.4% ABV (alcohol by volume). If you REALLY want to get serious, we'll start talking Russian Imperial Stouts and Barleywines in the 12% - 14% range!!!  :occasion5:

As I type this, I'm in the middle of the boil on another batch of Imperial IPA for a friend's wedding in September. It's a clone (copycat) recipe of a cult West Coast IPA called Pliny the Elder made by Russian River. Bride's favorite beer. Well, back to the brew room, coming up on my next hop addition - #2 of 5.

great looking bacon!!  I am really looking forward to seeing more of your cooks and photos.  

 

I really enjoy taking pictures of food as well.  Looks like I will have my work cut out for me on this forum
