Awesome looking cook, tinyfish!

As Alton Brown cautions about crepes - Be prepared to toss out the first one. It never comes out right. After that, it gets easier.

btw - odd spot in the Forum for this post?? :scratch:

I like to take the first one and sprinkle sugar and lemon juice on it and eat it while heating the pan for the 2nd: 'waste not want not' as grandma Tomahawk used to say!

Had a dinner party yesterday and you, tinyfish, inspired me to make manicotti crespelle...its been a decade or more since the last time for me.

How did they turn out? I hope they tasted great. It is a very simple recipe and its good to feed a lot of people.

Dang it...didn't get any photos of the manicotti.  But all 38 got devoured and are gone :D

 

Homemade ricotta too...easier to make than it sounds and no compare to ANY commercially available ricotta.
