It was everything and more! I am still a bit freaked out about rolling that down a 32 degree slope, partly its top heavy nature but also trying to take it over the sharp break from flat to 32 degree slope and having it bottom up at that spot. Got to measure and mock up that angle and the wheels.

Yeah, here we are grilling on the Rolls Royce of grills, with a commensurate price tag and worrying about a wee bit of coffee gear?!? I have cooked food on C-4 explosives compound and I must say it was damn fast to cooking temp, but the Big KK is pretty sweet

Super nice setup and first grilling. I hope to be doing a burn-in this weekend since the BB32 showed up today. What is the appropriated burn-in procedure?

It is an evolving scene and I must give credit to my wife for putting up with my madness and now with the KK she it taking deeper breaths She still has kitchen left over, but I wish it was bigger but she won't let me enlarge it. You can see the evolution of the coffee gear in the corner.

I paid less than $1K for mine but sold it to get a $2450 grinder, so the madness marches on. It is all about the grinder more than the espresso machine.

Well, the BKK32 arrived today so now the unpacking has begun. Wow, it was an engineering feat to get all that stuff inside the big shell, Kudos to Dennis and his team! 2 pallets arrived and I moved the big one and the delivery driver took the little one (240LB of goods) down my driveway. I am super happy the way it went, nothing like heavy equipment to do the job Now I need to move the gutted shell down a flight of stairs. The next series of photos will have the process of going down the stairs. Note the big fuzzy puppy supervising the forklift. She is pretty good for a 17month old and didn't yap to much.

Try eating raccoons, if they are not city coons, they are tasty! I can imagine putting one on the roti in the KK, YUM!

I would recommend a Ceado E37s as a VERY GOOD grinder for a decent price.

That is very nice of you help the critters that cannot migrate for whatever reason. If we put out bird feeders here the pigeons and crows usurp the good and the little ones lose. Casting the seeds on the ground feeds the small birds really well here. Now the hummingbirds really have my respect for their aerial acrobatics and their feisty territorial displays Hope to get photos of that some day too.

I just got of the phone with Dennis and he said that the tables/wings are all different between the models EXCEPT between the 32 and 42 which are the same wings. He gave me some dimensions to make it possible to order the copper tonight and get in on the cyber sales stuff. Will Post more later when the beast arrives tomorrow!

Once a year i get the opportunity to photo salmon jumping in the yard (Puget Sound) in front of our home. I am always trying to get a shot of the birds catching a fish.

The pdf I received was very generic and has a total of 11 pages, with the highest number of 10 on the page. I looked everywhere for the BB32 front to rear leg dimension and I also looked through the entire website for the dimensions of the wings. Looks like I will need to call Dennis and bother him. Thanks for your input.

When looking through all the Posts on this Forum it struck me that I did not see YEAR the Posts were made. I know the month and the date, but not the year. I think it could be helpful in the search for anything and its relevance.

No, this is not meant to be an Alfred Hitchcock Thread but birds do attack thing, even attacking humans. Think about the birds that protect their nests in the city and attack walkers and joggers. I can imagine some interesting photos have been taken. Along that vein here are some photos of a couple of eagles double timing a duck. The duck got lucky... The 2 crows kept running interference for the duck.

Jon, what page did you find that on? I just went to page 7 where the dimensions are listed and it has all other dimensions EXCEPT that one. Thank you for the info, now I know I need a minimum of 30" to roll the big beast when pushing it sideways. I also did not find anything about the dimension of the wings. Like how much do they add to the overall width with both wings in place? And a dimension of the maximum if I were to lay a square piece of wood over one of them how big would it have to be to cover the entire wing, side to side and front to back? I want to clad the wings in copper and would like to know their size so I can take advantage of the Cyber sales this week.

Maybe I have missed it somewhere but what is the maximum width (side to side) of the BB32 with its wings installed? Also regarding the BB32, what is the maximum dimension, front to rear, of the legs? I found the dimension for side to side of the feet but not front to rear. Got the Big Boy coming for delivery on Wednesday the 30th of Nov. Yahooooo
