Nice looking thick crust pizza! -
I trusted my knot tying ability and the fact that I too am afraid of heights IF I cannot hold onto something. I once did some rigging on a cable that was going from a cliff top(maybe 150ft high) to a large rock/boulder about 300 ft offshore where the cable was anchored around the base of the boulder underwater. So that was a cable at about a 20-30 degree angle going down into the ocean. Hanging on that cable (tied off of course) was a super thrill when a wave would hit the cable and shake it!! That was an interesting project with electrical generation from wave action; it worked.

The swaying that the tree did when I wedged the top off its stump and it fell the 60 ft down was pretty impressive. A definite thrill ride and adrenaline was flowing, but not as much as running TOWARD machinegun fire... Now that is a rush!

Which song?? Looks like it is time to try and make a hot peach baste... Thew shipping is killer. I have had requests to make items to be sent to Austraila and I always tell the folks that it costs more to send it than it does to make it.

Forcing the Copy/Paste is what I have done for years with Word, Pages, etc. When I was using AutoCad professionally we were adding photos with text to the drawing were were generating BEFORE AutoCad made it a normal practice. It drove the iT guy crazy in that government facility but they realized that having a photo of a problem and an engineered solution was worth more than trying to get us to stop doing it. It all took time and that is the name of the game, time. And this leads me to the Print Post request for Dennis and his iT wizards. I realize that chopping out the blank pages, extra spaces and headers/footers all is a good thing and is something to be said for the copy/paste thought. But maybe another thought is when I Post a recipe of my own I need to be sure that is it concise and laid out in as short a format as possible. -
She does not like the smoke so she keeps her distance and from that vantage point she knows when the food is removed from the KK.

I think mine will get to the point and retrieve level within 6 months, when she is 2 years old. It is amazing at what they soak up mentally at this young age. This particular dog is my 6th German Shepherd but I have never owned more than 2 at a time. 2 is really a handful and when trained to do it they will tow you at warp speed if you are on a skateboard, you know, Gee, Haw, Mush and whoa, it works like a charm! Now I need to put wheels on a walker and try it with one dog.

I just never shut the dome when the top vent is closed.

Thank you. She is 81 pounds / 18 mo old and a real live wire! Smart as a whip, knows the names of all her toys (she has many) AND she knows colors. Yes, they are color blind but they can recognize shades of whatever. She knows red, blue, green, yellow, white and black. There are toys that have variations of these colors so I named those toys with a hyphenated name using the main color first and the secondary color second, like Red-Blue or Blue-Red, and the dogs gets it! She does all sorts of other things like carry the newspaper from the curb to the back door to deliver it. Carry packages from the UPS or Fed-Ex guy to the patio to deliver it, you should have seen the look on their faces when she first did it. She is pretty amazing and so far is showing great signs of being able to follow a scent. Lots of training to do yet, and lots of fun. The smoker is a distraction/training exercise for her.

She is the stealth model and is very quiet when she wants to be. Otherwise she tries to do this, the table is off limits, especially she has grown since this photo was taken!

Ha! The MBP is probably a better choice since it has a case and a cover so it is protected when not in use. Blue Tooth was not the thought but WiFi was. Also, having a portable platform to drag electronic files around the house so my wife could read the recipes and see the photos sure would save on printer ink and paper! Man, I used to work part time in the forest and provided some wood for the local pulp mills and always figured that I was providing paper as well as lumber for homes. I was, but the illusion of the electronics industry is going to save paper is pure nonsense! Printers waste more paper, or should I say people who use them print stuff that has no business being on paper. When I worked for a government agency that used 4 ft wide printer paper I was always amazed at coming into work to see a 600 ft roll of paper on the floor with letter sized email sent to the wrong printer! Or a photo of a body part and another 600 ft of paper on the floor. So my efforts at conscientious logging were a bust Thanks for the thoughts Dan. -

I just tried Pasting the one handed cooks recipe into Google Docs, WOW, a 24 page document. Not something I would want to print. I have been fighting the need to buy an iPad but it is getting tougher to escape it. Now there are temp controls for the iPad, Coffee Roasting programs and I can put automotive diagnostics onto it as well. heavy sigh,,,, time to bite the bullet and get another i device. Thanks for all the suggestions. -
This will require much tasty testing!

Did you get that sauce in the USA? Is it possible to get here? Or should I just mix a peach compote with Sriracha?

I will give those suggestions a try. If the other 3 Mac users don't use Pages then WHAT do they use?? -
She definitely had her nose working! But she is a good dog and knows better to steal something when I am looking Now if I leave her alone with such a temptation I don't think this 18mo old pup could contain herself. I was surprised the pie came out as well as it did. The Ribeye being excellent is a given.

Here is 1-1/2hr roast at 375F for the 6LB ribeye and 1hr at 375 for the Marie Calendars Pumpkin Pie. Used a Garlic, slat & pepper, rosemary and thyme with olive oil rub. Yummy!

If what was pasted from the Forum had the photo files I think there might be a way but so far I have not found it.
