Majestik Roast

Recommended Posts

I finally got over to Fresh Market and picked up some Cajun Blackening season that Drunk_J recommended. It was so tasty I had to slather it all over a 4-lb standing rib roast and cook it up last night.

It was miraculous. Sweet and tender and oh so juicy. Those are some Sam Adams marinated Brats with it. Not pictured was the butternut squash and sweet potatoes(oven roast) and tomato & mozarella salad.... a real feast last night.

In fact, it was so succulent I had steak & eggs this morning for breakfast...

Diet? What diet?

Fine' date=' I see how this works. I recommend a good blackening season to you and don't even get invited to dinner. [/quote']

You have a standing invitation. But you'll have to haul your lazy ass up here.

The seasoning was excellent - great find. Thanks! :P

Man, and here I thought you were gonna come pick me up? hehe

BTW, using that blackening season again tonight! Got a couple of gorgeous beef tenderloin fillets and gonna wrap them in peppered bacon. Probably a side of asparagus to go with it and accompany it all with a nice petite sirah (ran across a great buy called Spellbound.....fantastic wine for the price - http://www.spellboundwines.com/ ).
