If you don't untie the blue ropes that are on the legs (I did, I thought they were part of the packaging) you can slip a couple of 2x4s through the loops and a couple of people can carry it that way. I used the Forearm Forklift straps and carried it in a similar fashion.

It's about time all you homos got up to speed. You've all been here chatting it up for months..... I show up, slap my money down, (so did TWharton) and all of a sudden I'm a senior KK owner 'round here. Wudda ya know? Well I don't don't know squat 'bout real Q, but I'm glad you fellas are willing to teach me -BTW welcome to the club. Now all of us "owners" are gonna be expecting plenty of pictures of delivery through adolescence...

Both of those colors are on-shore aren't they? You should be able to have it by the end of the month e-z!!

Regarding TMF (The Motley Fool) I'll second what TW says, I too am a charter Stock Advisor subscriber. It's great. I've been a Fool for many years (since 1997) Here are my other ratings: Hidden Gems - subscriber, but like SA better Inside Value - subscriber - but won't renew Funds - also no experience On a similar note - have you ever heard Bob Brinker on the radio? He publishes a newsletter: Bob Brinker's Marketimer, it is consistently rated #1 or #2 by the newsletter tracking folks. I have read his newsletter for probably 10 years and he has made perfect calls time after time. You can follow his rec's by using index funds or the exchange traded securities that track the indexes (i.e. Spiders SPY [s&P] Diamonds DIA [the Dow], etc.) His latest call was to buy the S&P @ 1250 or below - that was about 2 or 3 months ago and it's over 1380 - that's over 10% in a few weeks. He was out of the market for the .com meltdown and got back in in early March of 2003 - check your charts, it was the bottom! This guy is good. I follow the Fool for individual issues, but when Brinker tells me to get out, I'm out.

You guess'ter Lester, 5/8" OD tube.... I guess I get a little confused, I see talk about getting tight seals on the lid etc. then we have a half inch hole sitting wide open. Maybe that's why I get venting everywhere with the Guru running and my hole plugged. (down Curly) I could leave it open, but I have table sitting beside to hold the Guru control & necessary stuff and the tube vents directly on my stuff. I use my (now brown) towel chunk to plug the hole whether or not I have probes running through it. It's not a big deal, but looks kinda cheeeezy when ya start thinking about it.

Polder tube is 2" long and .53" diameter.

What's your order date? We need to know so we can turn up the heat as date draws near. Actually you need to decide today, so you can get it over with. Get the black, it won't show the smoke residue as much..... besides that green is kinda gay.

Look at this picture, you can see the socket with the square hole. That other picture must be old, it doesn't have the bolts to hold the bracket..
-
Disclaimer: I don't have the rotis. It appppears that the motor shaft sticks into the socket on the outside and then the cradle spring loads between the fittings on the inside, the motor socket turns and viola! It's like a secret passage in one of your video games! Have you ever played America's Army? I don't have a game console, but I rented an xbox once and thought Halo was lame, I prefer to shoot people not aliens.

It's a socket Bucko. If you don't believe me, look here:http://www.komodokamado.com/forum/viewt ... highlight=

Re: Holes

I will happy to provide these in a few hours (when I get home). The rotis. socket is that, not a through hole......fyi

No water, and that's 430 dome, I have been quoting grill temps on the brisket etc. (L&S)

Re: Please make it happen!!!!! Our WalMart doesn't have lump either, but I did find it at a WM Super Center down the road. I also have purchased BGE lump at an egg dealer (hardware store). You may not have Menards (lumber yard) but they carry Cowboy. You might check Lowes or Home Depot....

Thanks for the tip 'Chop, I'll do that next time. I still can't believe I can leave the lid down for HOURS without looking, but then I start getting antsy and it's getting close to feeding time, and it's getting close to bed time, etc. - then I pull it too soon (probably) I'll try to do better. Do you monitor the temp or do you just start checking it around the calculated done time? This chuck went for about 1.75/lb @230.

Sign me up for the wife's choice, that's what I got! I'm not crazy about the color I got, but she likes it and that was important when spending that kind of coin 'round my place. Signed, Whipped in Iowa
