Re: How Long to Get KK?? If you want custom-built you're best off talking to Dennis directly. As mentioned, if you find one in stock that you like delivery is very fast. It depends on what you can spend. There is only one size so that's an easy one. The classic round cooker works great, but the OTB-style is the more common variety in that it provides a more even heating and also looks better (although that's a bit subjective, of course). Textured vs. tiled is more of a personal preference thing than anything that significantly impacts the cooking. You can see a table of the various options on the price list or you can see a text description here. Hope this helps! I'm sure you'll love your cooker no matter which one you choose.

It shouldn't cause rusting since it's not metal, I would have been better saying not to use non-stainless steel since it's particles left behind from standard steel or iron that cause rusting and pitting. If you like it and it works, feel free to make a post in this forum.

The GrillFloss seems to be the current favorite (at least if ordered directly). Just be sure you use something stainless (like stainless steel wool) to prevent rusting.

I've heard that the best way to move these things is to get a few guys and a pair of 2x4s. What's the fun in that (unless you're Sanny and like large sweaty men in your yard)? Here's my version of "2x4s" and some muscle: I just need some more manly ballast in the back besides the grass catcher - I'll put the tiller back there for the actual move.

How could I have forgotten!?!? When you eat very rare meat (or whatever goes into hot dogs) it kills any parasites that may be living in there and it also helps to dull the chest pains.

Re: Porterhouse??? Ya reckon that was a british invention? I thought it was a kiwi one? I had it in Singapore first and was told by my fake Aussie boss (Kiwi in disguise) that it was a British thing. Of course I've also had it in Madrid but I don't think I've had it in the UK so who knows if he's right.

Help! I keep clicking on Sanny's link and it just sends me to a thread where Sanny links to the sticky thread - I'm caught in some sort of recursive loop! It's like how it takes me forever to take a shower because I read the directions on the shampoo bottle: lather, rinse, repeat.

I read about this chemical that they're finding all over the place. It's found in the groundwater close to toxic waste dumps, it's a primary component of acid rain, it's even found in food that's been seared as well as malignant tumors - that correlation is too strong to deny! People have died from just a few teaspoons of this stuff and yet some companies are dumping it by the truckloads into our rivers.
