I told Mrs skreef that when the food runs out the cats will be the first to go. I'm saving my very best white soy sauce for such an occasion. Chinese food at the Reef's.

If you're into geocaching I'm sure you'll like this. I had an old travel bug I used when I was geocaching on my motorcycle. I sold the motorcycle for a down payment on the travel trailer so I thought it was appropriate to turn that bug into a Travel Trailer Bug. I have this on both pass through doors and on the back above the spare tire. Feel free to discover this bug just let me know what forum you saw this on. If you ever see it out in the wild please discover it again and stop by to say hello. Charles and Susan

Hopefully someone can help me out. I have a very small project that I think a piece of composite Decking (like Timbertech) would work. I have a few questions. Can you cut it with a normal skill saw/miter saw or do you need a special blade? Can you screw into it? If you screw something down onto it will it hold the screw like normal wood? Do you need pilot holes? Do you need special screws?

Good luck with that. Your best bet is to ride out in the country. Those little stores out in the middle of nowhere are still stocked. I guess they haven't herd the news about a new virus going around.

I skipped most of the canned veggies but I did stock up on frozen veggies. If they cut the power state wide we're all screwed.
-
They didn't do a run on chicken around my neck of the woods, plenty to be had. Bought me a huge pack of leg quarters. Still have a bunch of thighs and wings in the freezer.
-
Ours is a really small, po dunk Piggly Wiggly - but - they defiantly have the cheapest, best, all natural twin packs of pork butts. That twin pack cost $27 and both were decent sized butts.
-
Great idea except when you need to wash your hair. Haven't done the head in the toilet in a long time and the last time I was really drunk and don't remember praying to the porcelain God. But they said I did.........

You'll probably end up with a black ink smear but that's better than a brown smear - LOL
-
Nope the corn husks - LOL I have enough toilet paper - we went to Walmart this afternoon and stocked up on some basic supplies. We could easily self quarantine for a month or three. Also stopped by the local Piggly Wiggly and got a cryo pac of 2 Boston Butts. In the end we swung by the liquor store and stocked up on alcohol. Just in case the world gets really crazy I'm not going to be without some medicine. I've also decided since we stocked up so good I'm not going back to Walmart or large grocery store until after May 1st. We'll let the Beer Virus run its course.
-
With all this Beer Virus talk there has been a crazy run on Toilet paper in the middle Georgia region. In the eight closest Walmarts to my house there is not a single roll of toilet paper to be found and no hand sanitizers and when the toilet paper ran out they started going for the baby wipes. Food was plentiful. I guess having a clean rear end is a bit more important than stocking up on food .............

Some country style pork ribs on the 19" KK. 300* for 3 hours. About 1/2 way through the cook I started basting them with Sweet Baby Ray's - Sweet Golden Mustard BBQ sauce. I really like the time change. We usually eat sort of late and the time change allows me to get on grill pictures while it's still light out.

@ckreef here is a great place to take your caravan

That looks totally awesome - sign me up -
Good post Aussie - TY. Mine looked more like what was posted in the first picture. Anyway they're good.

Not sure I could ever top this grill accessory but I'm always willing to try sometime in the future.

We did get a soft cover for the pickup truck so nobody can see what's in there. Solo stove is already in the truck bed. Definitely still have the Oval Jr to take along on the longer trips. Tv and stereo directly across from the theater seats. Which are full recliners with massage and heat they are more comfortable than any chair in the house - LOL It does have a nice stove but the oven is basically useless for anything but cookies or bisquits. That's okay they do make an artisan (pizza) oven for the Camp Chef. That's already on the need to buy list. Honda generator went for a swim? Or did you need to use it for an anchor? I'm sure an interesting story either way.
-
Don't know about taking along a KK. Would probably send me over my trucks tow limit - LOL
-
No generator yet but I've been looking. We haven't even taken it out for our first trip. That picture was in the back yard. We only brought it home 2-8-20. Another few weeks and we'll give it a maiden run.

We're looking forward to the new adventures. Yes a reasonable grill but I think I choose wisely (both grill and trailer). I'm not scared of propane I can make any grill sing (with enough practice).
-
I've done my fair share of tent camping in the past. Those days are over - LOL
-
I bought a few awesome Camp Chef Accessories. Definitely had to get the cover. Needed some leveling feet especially when using the griddle. A longer propane hose is always nice. And of course we needed a Travel Trailer to go along with the Camp Chef. I mean what's the purpose of owning a camping grill if you can't go camping 2020 Grand Design 2600rb. Just the right sized couples trailer for me and Mrs skreef. Standing in the bathroom doorway. The other end, standing in the bedroom doorway.

If work cooperates I should be able to get a few pictures this weekend

No basket splitter. Grill Grates in the 16", heat deflector/drip pan in the 19". Two KK's is a minimum in my world. with just me and Mrs skreef 2 smaller KK's is just fine. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) with my latest acquisition (will post soon) a 42" KK is now officially off the table.

Not sure about the actual cut. I think they were labeled lamb Shank Steak but my memory could be fading - LOL. Strangely enough I get these at Walmart. They are sold in 2's in a cryopac. I've gotten them a few times and they aren't bad. Next time I get some I'll post a picture of the pac.
