  1. I would love this recipe, as it looks to die for
  2. I keep promising myself to get into more fish cooks. I really need to start!! Great looking cook and photos looks good too
  3. Tiny I use amazon.com for everything. I stay far away from the .ca site. If you ever see deals better in the US with price exchange, order to my postal address in Lewiston NY. I pay 5.00 a parcel to pick up
  4. great looking bacon!! I am really looking forward to seeing more of your cooks and photos. I really enjoy taking pictures of food as well. Looks like I will have my work cut out for me on this forum
  5. ckreef that is a fantastic looking pie. You were the one that got me into making pizza on my kamado!!
  6. I just did a fresh grind on a chuck roast. 3 lbs double ground and mixed with dizzy dust. I made 6oz patties with old cheddar. I don't think there is anything that can beat the taste of a charcoal cooked burger!!! Awesome looking cook
  7. Great looking cook my friend. You GTA boys know how to represent good Itakian food !!!
  8. A very nice gift indeed. My vote for the name is "amor". It's the masculine Spanish word for love. Sounds like armour which that BB is and it was a gift given out of love from your wife. Anyways just my thoughts Congrats
  9. key lime pie is wonderful. Next time you make it try it with the small key limes. My buddy has a condo down in Florida near the keys. He brings home key lime juice and it makes the best pies. I will see if I can get you a bottle next time he goes. It is concentrated and a little goes a long way. This pie is the bomb!!!
  10. Omg guys you are killing me!!! These things are making me want to order right now!! My wife loves the terra blue. I just think I fell in love with that too and the dark autum nebulas is gorgeous too I hate the choices lol. 23 I think will be good. Speaking with tinyfish today on the phone and learning that there are multiple racks will be more than enough for this guy. After seeing these I may need to rethink my told choice lol
  11. you make a very valid point Willbur. In my mind I think that if I get one.... I will want two I really enjoy having the flexibility of multiple cookers.... in this case I already have that. maybe it is best that I stick with my original plan of getting the ultimate first to see what I think... And I will still have my joes to use when I need more space
  12. With my current brand of Kamado the usual response to what size to get is bigger is always better. If you were all to do it again would you get a 32" grill or get the 23 + 19 combo??
  13. Wow great review CC!! I remember reading through it before but now it seems so much more informative! I have been starring at pebbles for three days. They are all starting to look the same lol!! Was the stand an extra??
  14. yeah no worries I look forward to chatting with him later this week. I am really in no hurry at all. He said the wifi near the factory is very weak. So we will chat when he returns home later this week.
  15. he was just finishing up for the night so we really didn't get too involved in conversation. I will let you know how it goes on Thursday
  16. I tried, bad connection at the factory. We will Chat Thursday night when he is back home. A quick online chat, he seemed very helpful
  17. very interesting.... I just posted about 2 zone cooking and a half grill. I would be interested... eventually lol
  18. I have ordered from fruitawood and have brought over the border without issue in the past. Finding the smoking wood shack that I believe Tiny Fish has used has been great. The price is fantastic and excellent quality with local woods
  19. I apologize in advance for this post!! I have been reading post after post with bits and pieces of questions answered. It is funny, I would consider myself a very knowledgable kamado user, and I know absolutely everything about the KJ brand.... sadly, I feel brand new with respect to KK. I want to educate myself so that I know what I am getting into, as well as being able to provide information to potential buyers on other forums... I have figured out the models and man there are many!!! I love the variety of sizes and design, colour choices and accessories. I am interested to know a few things in more detail however. When purchasing the kamado itself, Robert explained that I get the grills, deflector stone included. Then I see that the side tables are an extra. I would think the half basket, and baking stone is really all that I would need extra to get started. Now 2 zone cooking... how does one achieve that with the ultimate and 19" high top? I understand the deflector stone is solid one piece, can you order a split divider stone for true 2 zone cooking??? When you place your order how do you pay? How long does it take usually from order date to delivery date? Who arranges shipping from over seas and ground transportation from the port to my house? How does warranty work? When ordering accessories after purchase, how much is it usually to ship products? Or is there a north america distribution?? I have narrowed down my design to pebble finish... I really loved CC black beast, however, after more research I am really drawn to harvest and gold pebble. Can anyone post their cookers with these finishes so that I can see them. I have seen Wilburpan's which is beautiful but would also like to see a few more before choosing. I am sure that I will have 100 more questions before this is said and done.... so bare with me, I hope to be up to speed in no time

  22. Tony sounds like you took advantage of the 8.99 Fortino's sale lol! Good looking cook and I will tell you that peach wood is my absolute favourite smoking wood that I have ever used.

I will keep the triplets as they are a great crew. I just really want one a KK too. I have seen tiny fish's set up and his pits are more diverse than the UN. Baby steps lol!! Yeah tiny the cancelling of my tickets is a major factor in this decision.
