  2. Here is picture of my 18”x14” baking steel griddle. It covers 2 side burners and my large center burner. I will let you know how it fits in my 32” KK when it arrives tomorrow.

  5. Lol no not all at once. Smash burgers Friday, Saturday burn in with pizza then Sunday 10 pound pork shoulder for pulled pork. Bacon next weekend probably... i might actually fit into my belts now!
  6. Just received a email that my KK arrived in the local distribution center! Need to call tomorrow morning to make an appointment for it be delivered sometime in the next 3 days. Then I will proceed to cook every piece of meat in my fridge and freezer
  7. @MacKenzie Yeah he is my little show pony! I have no room for all my new toys so I am loading up my oven until my cabinet gets here in June or July. I hope I remember that next time I need to bake something.... As for “the arrival” I am so happy and nervous thinking about first cook, burn in, moving it, etc. But talking to everyone here and Dennis has made this whole experience easier. Thanks again everyone

  10. Sooo... more boxes of goodies came today! It included 6ozs. Of crack berries. I have been in 4 and 5 diamonds from 14 till my mid 20’s, spent some time at SBCC for culinary and hotel managment and done some traveling to some nice resorts around the Caribbean and never once heard about these little gems. So Let’s have some ideas on what to do with them.
  11. Sorry I don’t know how to tag people. Bruce I bought it off amazon but you can also order it from onegrill, it’s their universal roti basket. I convert it to flat or leave it as tumblr basket. The skewers I also ordered are not in yet but I think I might be able to run the skewers on it as well. MacKenzie, I know I love it! I have some LeCrueset stuff as well, but I think staub will be getting my money from now on.
  12. I just opened the box to my FireBoard. Solid little unit. I ordered it with the cover, extra ambient temp prob and fan cable. If I end up getting a fan, which I am still on the fence about I’ll get the guru pit viper. I bought the fireboard because I wanted a WiFi/Bluetooth thermometer that could run a fan.

  14. Thanks Tony I just ordered some merlot/ bourbon chips from them for the cold smoker and Dennis sent me a box of coffee chips as well.
  15. So update from Dennis. Tomorrow the cooker and all accessories are shipping from CA. Custom cabinet “hell or high water” is shipping from Indonesia on the 8th. Hopefully the covers and custom cutting board will be with it!
  16. I am use to Santa Maria style bbq with red oak. So I am pretty lost as well. The money was wired Thursday and I am hoping to hear from Dennis soon that he shipped it. If your close to Janesville you can come over and take a look at a 32”
  17. Well I have, Berkshire pork chops, wagyu burger, quail, scallops, shrimp, salmon, and a few filets. I am thinking of buying some pork for pulled pork and trying to find a place around here to cut up some tri-tips. Growing up 30 minutes from Santa Maria CA I do LOVE me some tri-tip!! but I did just open up my octoforks package! Looking forward to using them, my wife looked at me with some concern in her eyes.

  22. How does all this shipping stuff work? What has been everyone’s experiences? Do I receive an email when it ships or phone call or do I pay then a driver calls me in a week or 2 and say “i am here.” If anyone from southern Wisconsin or northern Illinois can give me estimate on how long it took for them.
