ThreeDJ16
OK, it was too dark to get the photos of the food cooking on the grill. That and it is a ninja grill so it was hard to spot anyway. -=Jasen=- Pork Shoulder is the first pick! Doused with a healthy heaping of Dizzy Pig's Dizzy Dust! Yeah, I cheated, this pic is from earlier when I first fired up the grill!
PaulR
Jealous Man, as I said in the other post....you're so lucky! How long did you use the gas burner for to get the coals lit?? Did it only take approx 5 minutes to get up to temp? (BTW what temp?) Oh yeah because Aussie Blue isn't there yet
ThreeDJ16
Almost ready! Almost ready to pull off the grill! -=Jasen=-
jdbower
Now the KK is the same color on the inside as it is on the outside - nice paint job!

Porkchop
see, that's the problem with the ol' kk; just one shoulder seems so lonely all by itself in there. i don't feel like i'm really cooking doing less than a pair of butts on an overnite. looks nice deej!! we'll be seeing the obligatory "food porn" bbq sandwich shot soon! what's the sauce of choice today deej? ThreeDJ16
what's the sauce of choice today deej? I usually make my own. Probably the Sweet Heat in the recipe section. I do like a couple made by Sticky Fingers restaurant though. -=Jasen=-

Yeah, I always do 2 just for the sake of time and fuel. Not much more time to prepare and put away the bounties of the 2.
Turtle
A cornish game hin?? see, that's the problem with the ol' kk; just one shoulder seems so lonely all by itself in there. i don't feel like i'm really cooking doing less than a pair of butts on an overnite. looks nice deej!! we'll be seeing the obligatory "food porn" bbq sandwich shot soon! what's the sauce of choice today deej? Heh, heh. The KK surface area makes a single pork butt look like a cornish game hin. Looking good and stylin, Deej! Congrats!

[/quote']PC, hunny, I think half a dozen shoulders would look lonely on a KK!
Sanny
Rub? Hey, Deej, what did you rub the shoulder with? It's a long "mother" story (you've heard some of them), but suffice it to say that I'm cookin pulled pork for a bunch of neighborhood guys who are helping her put up a fence. I'm thinkin 2 or 3 butts or shoulders (rather find bone in, but you get the idea). What's good, do you think? Chime in, anyone. Yes, I know I could look in recipes or techniques, but Deej's shoulder looks so good on the Ninja!

I usually just use Rox's Rub from the recipe section, but this stuff was very good too. I was just doing one shoulder now cause I wanna cook a bunch. I am still on vacation till July 6th so I don't have the work hogs to take all the extra food too. I could seal and freeze it, but I am full up right now - hehe. -=Jasen=-
