tony b
I'm a backer of this kickstarter for the uKeg Growlers. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/growlerwerks/the-ukegtm-pressurized-growler-for-fresh-beer?ref=nav_search Interesting, I wish hey had gone a little longer with the video and actually opened the beer It was a cute "parlor trick," but frozen beer goes flat as soon as it's opened. Not tasty!
CeramicChef
Tony - You've hit the nail squarely on the head. Frozen/slushy beer is a good idea of you could keep it carbonated!

DaveyR
Tony nice looking. How do the keep it carbonated ? is there a pump at the top or is it CO2 cartridge as well?
DaveyR
Bryan the ManCan uses standard CO2 cartridges so you just pop on another if it is going flat. They are also putting in a connection for bigger CO2 tanks.

CeramicChef
bryan - I've never tried. I have a SodaStream, the carbonate beverage producer, and I've never thought about trying that. I think ice crystals would have a hard time adsorbing CO2 as the lattice is pretty much closed. I know water readily adsorbs CO2, but I'm just not sure about ice. Where are my old Chem Engr profs when I need them? LOL!
bryan
Alas I don't drink any more (but all my friends do) I had to quit. I drank to get drunk. Could not get drunk anymore. Passed out before I got that far.. (so I finally just quit) That and was tired of being the middle man.

His idea of "vacation" was to stay passed-out drunk on the couch for a week.

Congrats to you for taking that single biggest step. We're your friends here, so anything, and I mean anything I or we can do to help you, please let us know. We're here every step of every day for you! Congrats for today and every day in the future!

bryan
Thanks to all. It has been awhile now. I quit smoking at the same time. Bad set of twins. That started my trip to 340#. Got me a new tummy 2 years ago. About the size of an egg. This morning I weighed in at 196#. Feel better than I have felt in 40 years. So yes I give away a lot of Komodo Kamado cooked food. Sheriff Dept, my Dr's and their staffs and the airport USO. All my Dr's think I have the best butt in town. Going down hill is a lot of fun.
