DaveyR
Nice summer meal. Corn, chicken well done for those that must have it that way and zucchini worth grilled broccoli. Is it bad when a 23 only just feeds 3 people and you are using 2 layers
tony b
Nice looking dinner, but where's the corn? I LOVE corn on the cob cooked on the grill. It's the best way to cook corn that there is!! I soak the ears in the husks in briny water for a couple of hours (depending on freshness) and toss them onto the main grate, still in the husks, direct for about 45 minutes (turn about every 15 minutes). Only thing better about summer is homegrown tomatoes!
DaveyR
Our tomatoes are not yet ready. The corn I just put in and don't soak and let the husk burn. No photos of that tonight. Didn't expect that 3 people would eat 6 ears.<br />
tony b
On a good day, I probably could eat 6 ears all by myself! Your tomato plants look about as far along as mine. Waiting with bated breath for my first tomato of the season! It WILL become a BLT - no question!!
tinyfish
Nice cook. I love the multi levels. I am lucky, I started eating my cherry tomatoes a few days ago. Have you guys ever tried Sungold cherry tomatoes they are some of the sweetest cherrys around.
tony b
Yes I have and they are very tasty! I have a plant again this year. But, no tomatoes yet!
DaveyR
We have the Sungold cherry but not quite yet. Also chocolate cherry, a late season that we cant remember and a dwarf egg plant. First of the egg plant should be in a couple of days. The garlic is nearly ready.
DaveyR
Tinyfish when the Wife heard that you are in Toronto she said that she is super impressed that your tomatos are out now.
CeramicChef
Davey - that's a fine looking chicken cook! Beautiful veggies. Kudos!
MacKenzie
Davey, chicken and veggies, both from the KK, must have tasted wonderful.
tony b
I have 8 different tomato plants going and every one has at least one tomato in some stage of development, except that they are all still green! One of my pepper plants (Shishito) has a pepper that's about ready (they are eaten green), but the others (ghost pepper and jalapeno) are just starting to flower.
