Poochie
Anyone a major Beatle fan here? I was around 7 or 8 when they first appeared on Ed Sullivan and have been a fan ever since. I've seen McCartney perform several times and enjoyed them all. Great group that were ahead of their time.
Poochie
44 views and not one Beatle fan?? Almost every YouTube of BBQ has country song playing. BBQ music doesn't HAVE to have a banjo and steel guitar.
tony b
Duh, I don't know what happened to my reply?? Basically, I'm a Stones guy. Saw the videos from their opening night of the current tour. It was at my alma mater (Georgia Tech). Still kicking it in their 70s. Can't say the same for Sir Paul. Last performance I saw (TV), he's lost it. Tried to do "Band on the Run" and he just couldn't hit the high notes anymore. Sad.
Poochie
He was 70 or 71 at the last live concert when I went. He did have trouble hitting some of the higher notes. But I'm mainly talking Beatles as a group. I like the Stones too. Someone said that if we have a nuclear war, the only left alive would be roaches and Keith Richards. ckreef
I'm a Beatles and Stones fan. I've been listening to classic rock and alternative my whole life. I listen to more modern rock and alternative lately (just getting tired of the same old same old)
CeramicChef
I'm a HUGE Beatles fan. They defined the genre, the age, and led the way! The Stones are good, but just not The Beatles. And Poochie, I think you're 100% correct .... Keith Richards is the world's only certified living mummy!
