Coconut milk, egg yolk and light brown sugar. Sous vide in a mason jar at 177.8F for 1 hour. It reminds me of maple cream, love it. Here it is on half of a pretzel bun with a fried egg, and a slice of KK smoked bacon.

King Arthur Flour English Muffin Recipes We grind our own flour and use sourdough starter, but these are established habits. One needs to tend the griddle (we used a Baking Steel) and then finish in the oven. Comals like made by La Chamba from black Colombian clay are said to heat more evenly, but I haven't tried this.

I also have the Baking Steel and found that recipe. Have made them several times, guess you missed the post. I followed the recipe and loved it. Haven't tried using my sourdough for them nor have I ground my own flour for them. Sounds like an interesting idea to try. Thanks again. Have you tried Pretzel Buns from King Arthur, they are also delicious?
