dstr8 Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 Although I haven't cooked over one, several of my off-road/dirt camper friends cook on a discada they fabbed themselves. There are several variations on the theme that got their start in the camping/off road exploring world: http://tembotusk.flyingcart.com/?p=detail&pid=29&cat_id= http://www.mojoegriddle.com/shop/mojoe-griddle http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/122211-Discada-(Disco)-build

Bruce Pearson Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 Yes I think you could stir fry very easy its 22in across and about 21/4 inches deep. To be honest I haven't cooked anything on it yet. I seasoned it but still haven't cooked anything yet . If you go to YouTube and look up Disc-it you'll see all kinds of videos showing people cooking things on it and recipes.
bryan Posted July 4, 2016 Author Report Posted July 4, 2016 I bought the Rio Grande with high top lid. Huge 24" diameter Semi-Flat bottom at about 10" across Cones up to a height of 4" Gives you 27" of cooking space end to end...this will hold a lot of food!! Weighs in at a hefty 25 pounds and just shy of a 1/4" thick Handles providing a secure and safe place to maneuver while cooking and carry it as well Works great om an old 3 leg burner from yesteryear. We use it a lot at the beach. Joe 2
