Unfortunately the bloke had no peach but is getting some. A quick question is it best to take the bark off

I used to hear it was best to remove the bark but I don't think that is really the case. If I recall correctly, it was supposed to add a bitterness to the smoke. I don't remove it and I have never noticed an issue.

Cheers guys I read up on it and the majority of people don't bother unless it's got fungi or mold on it mine a clean. Good to know was not looking forward to cleaning up all this wood lol. Will get myself a 2qrt duchie and give it a try
