  1. First time for this bread but it went well with the spaghetti and the Grana Padano cheese frico. Grilled tomatoes from last summer made for a tasty sauce for the homemade spaghetti. Comfort food I used the recipe found here - http://www.food.com/recipe/the-easiest-bestest-focaccia-bread-ever-27968 Grano Pandano cheese with toasted fennel seed frico. 2. I've tried coffee and guava. The coffee is good; however, it pretty strong stuff. You have to be very careful with the coffee as it is easy to ruin a cook if you use it like hickory or other 'mainstream' woods. Guava, for me, was at the other end of the spectrum, not a whole lot there, but maybe I didn't use enough. Peach is currently my favorite smoking wood, and I buy it here: http://www.fruitawoodchunks.com/ Cookie

  8. Love the veggie tray too - and kudos for not cooking them on the sticks with the meat...how many times have we all had burnt veg because we had to cook the chicken long enough to be done Or in the case of beef, vice versa for me....overcooked meat because of uncooked veg.

  9. Good story Cookie - TY for sharing. I live out in the country. Gravel driveway and all. Walk out of my side door. Cross over the driveway, walk over a small motorcycle driveway (about 40'-50' in total) and you end up at Reef's Backyard Bistro - LOL Future improvements are planned.
