So happy we just had a comp to win a local asado grill....the person that won has sold it to me .I m picking it up this Saturday .looking forward to some gaucho grilling[emoji9] Outback kamado Bar and Grill

I posted before how pleased I was with SRF and their customer service. They sent me a second one, since my first rib cap arrived thawed, and I got to cooking it. While I did not execute it quite as perfectly as my first cook, it was really dang good. Way up there. I just seared it on the first side just a tad too much. I resolved this by flipping it and finishing it on the main grate. Saved it but it wasn’t as perfect as it could have been. oh and I made pie. I am getting good at making pie.

I made a chicken pie using chicken from previously KK chicken cooks. This is reason enough to bake a chicken on the KK for me.

Mac I would take your Chicken pie any day over a Marie calendars crust or no crust.

And here I am having a Marie Callendar's frozen chicken pot pie for lunch!

Only happened once, but it was epic! Sort of like poor Jon's slip & slide adventure with the whole pie! The crust stuck and I jammed real hard with the peel, only to watch the cheese and topping slide half-way off the pizza onto the peel. Fortunately, I was able to get the crust off on the next jab and reconstruct the pizza back in the kitchen. Not the prettiest pie ever made, but at least I got to eat mine, unlike Jon!

Or, while trying to get the pizza back onto the peel to take off, watch as the cheese and toppings slide onto the peel, but the crust sticks and stays behind!

I have been sooooo close to this happening to me so so so many times.
