That’s a very good idea, thanks. I was looking up hoist rentals when some neighbors came by and helped me out. Took 5 people to lift it and get it in place. Guess I owe them all a nice BBQ meal! Hope my arm heals tho, it’s really hurting.
Thanks for the tips. We were finally able to get the lid on last night, took 5 of us to get it lifted onto the base.
I spoke to Dennis yesterday, they were shipping them in 2 pieces for a while, shipping costs went crazy after covid. But they are now back to shipping them assembled.
I always do a dry rub, no spritzing, no foil. and no peeking until about the 5 hour mark and then it's just a quick peek to check the pull back. KK is at 250F.
We are moving and I have to sell the 32. I'm disappointed but a fantastic housing opportunity came up that we couldn't pass.
I have the following accessories for it:
Baking Stone
Cold Smoker
Rotisserie Cradle
2 Covers - One for tables on and one for tables off
Basket Divider
Stainless Steel Tables
Let me know if you are interested and we can work out a price. I'm located 20 miles south of Green Bay.
Thanks Bill, if it only costs me some chicken, I’ll be getting off easy. Trying to lift the lid with my son, started losing my grip. Kept it from hitting the ground but it came down on my arm. I’m out of commission now so I’ll have to get 3-4 friends to help me out. Hope to get this baby fired up soon though
