  1. Congratulations on your Gen II, great color choice also. I understand how you feel about waiting, when I ordered the Black Pearls I actually saw the second hand on my clock slow down. For a while there I could have sworn that it stop moving all together.
  2. Re: Two New tiles.. Dennis, So the question is, How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood... Did i pass the test
  3. Well I'm already in for "The Jurassic" What about "Fossil" or "Terra" ? How about going Hawaiian and call it "Lua Pele" that means Volcano or pit of Pele "Pele is the goddess of fire".
  4. Yeah, looks more like slate gray than black.[/quote:2hw9xlzy] I'm seeing gray
  5. I agree it looks like petrified wood or even petrified dinosaur bone, how about " The Jurassic " ?
  6. They prefer to be called bikers or damn bikers ( Biker Trash to their friends )
  7. People were showing up ta 4:00 and i put out the poppers and shrimp to get them started. I had the pork done so i just had to deal with the fish and veges. They were eating for 5 plus hours, then we brought out the birthday cake and i didn't even get any!
  8. What little was left a couple of people put in bags and took home, we even had people call sunday morning to help with leftovers but it was all gone. So much for leftovers for sunday dinner.
  9. My first slow and low, 26 lbs pulled pork. There was also 10 lbs of seared ahi, 6 lbs cajun shrimp, 40 jalapeno poppers, 20 lbs twice baked potatoes and about 10 lbs of roasted veges. All done on the kk's, there were no leftovers. The Black Pearls did there work perfectly. there were 30 people and they could not stop asking questions about the grills. Sorry i didn't get pictures of everything but it was all i could do to get the food on the table without losing a hand. The only complaint i heard over and over was "I may have eaten to much" Ya think
  10. Show girls, feathers and all! [/quo Show girls why not, i already have the feathers I'm sure my wife will understand
  11. I have a friend in the lighting business so it will be probably lit up like Vegas
  12. I know I'm not even close to been done but i just finished grouting and sealing the stone and had to move the KK's to there new home.
  13. Re: Will somebody please send me the measurements - AC motor Will somebody please send me the measurements of the AC motor. Including switch position. Thanks Hope this helps 4" x 6 1/4" x 2" 102mm x 159mm x 51mm
  14. Um... if the rooms don't have a "real" divider (closed door, wall, etc.), I think I'd go with the same sort of wood in both. Archway isn't really a hard division. That means you'll have to pull up the existing room and put the teak in there, too. I agree with Sanny, time to redo the kitchen also
  15. Kind of a last minute thing so no time to brine. Had to put the drip pan right on the coals just to clear. Tried the pan on top of the lump basket and the turkey got stuck. It was 12.5 lbs and came out great
  16. So far my spring works great. Had to balance the right length and strength of spring to keep it from popping sideways inside the motor compartment. But the drill stop collar is also a good idea and serves the same purpose. Maybe change that set screw out to something with wings to make tightening a little faster and easier. -=Jasen=-[/quote:3jryju92] I was going to do that but thought i may have clearance issue as it rotated. If i put a spacer between the collar and the motor there maybe room for a thumb screw. But the allen wrench works OK for now
  17. I never had any luck with the spring but i did find a shaft collar at the hardware for $2.00 and it seems to work very well. You just slip it on tighten the set screw and your good to go.
  18. Oh, you want some too? Say hello to my little friend.... Not that i want you to feel bad for us but we did have snow about 3 weeks ago. This is a picture from my backyard looking up to Haleakala the volcano behind our house. The top is 10,023 ft. so it gets a little chilly up there in the winter. The snow only lasted 2 days before it melted and the last time i saw snow up there was about 5 years ago but it was real snow on Maui!!!
  19. I know what your saying Jasen, we'll be lucky to see the low 80s today. Can't wait till winters over. Don
  20. All i heard from everyone was "That's the best turkey I've ever had". The pearls did there magic...
  21. Mele Kalikimaka ( Merry Christmas) and Hau'oli Makahiki Hou ( Happy New Year ) Hope everyone has a safe holiday. Were cooking two 21lb turkeys on the Black Pearls. We are having a family reunion with 24 for dinner. I know that's alot for 24 but you've got to have leftovers!!
