    Delivery has been a bit of a nightmare actually. It showed it arrived locally yesterday and through several phone conversations was told it wasn’t in state. I asked how a tracking would show it arrived, was offloaded, and a delivery time was set to my house and kept getting BS answers. I was supposed to get a call today and nothing.     I wanted to see one in person as well, and was lucky to see a post on Instagram of a 42SBB that was about two hours away. I went to see it and was sold within minutes. I understand your feelings completely. Best of luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I’m not worried about lump use. It’s beyond efficient, as you are aware bing an owner, and has a reducer for smaller cooks. My XL BGE’s aren’t as efficient and I still snuff out what I don’t use and reuse it for the next cook. I will do the same with this. Charcoal is just part of the game. I will report after some use how it does with lump though. Retirement is good but I’m busier now than I ever have been. I’m probably going to do some BBQ catering on the side.     Congrats! She’s a beauty for sure. I’m also a long time BGE grilled and had a custom Challenger Designs cabinet made for my XL which will soon hit the market. Awesome cabinets! I’m considering having one made for my SBB42 as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I could have gone either way and been happy, but after seeing that matte black 42, I knew it was screaming my name. Plus I have a thing for rock and roll, classic bbq colors, and even my ink is black; it made sense! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I don’t know what the options are for grout but after extensive research I did see what appears to be a lighter color grout on an introduction pic Dennis posted of the cobalt blue pebble in 2017 (Instagram, March 2017 post), however; it appears all recent photos are black grout. The lighter color may be from flash photography as well. Dennis would be the one who would know for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
