I’m hoping someone who has been through the KK unpacking process can answer a question. I’m stoked to be getting my 32 BB this week. When you implode the box holding it off the legs and free up the rollers, is it pretty safe to roll it down the crate ramp? Does the lid need to be removed prior to attempting this? Maybe I’m over thinking it. But it seems like it might be top heavy and roll over rather than down the ramp. I would prefer not to remove the lid....concerns about getting it lined up as well as the factory, but if it is totally necessary, then I will. Oh, there will be myself and 2 buddies unpacking it. And the crate will be sitting on the concrete porch where the KK will reside. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Update: Got my 3 delivery emails and owners manual from Dennis and Mimi this morning. It’s official, my 32 is in the hands of the trucking co. I’m betting that Braindoc, GrillnBrew, Forrest, and C6Bill will not be far behind. Nice looking KK Forrest!

I agree with you tony b. Not everyday you can find heart steak or Bavette at your local grocery store or meat market. I was contemplating an order a few days ago, but they were out of a lot of the stuff I was interested in. I decided for my first order I’d wait until some of it was in stock to get one large enough for free shipping. You are right about stuff going quick. Good info, thanks!

I saw the 2019 post and it looked like most were liking their PR buys. Was wondering how time has changed your opinions? Seems like quality stuff.....worth the price?

Braindoc, GrillnBrew, and C6Bill: Sounds like my 32 might be on the same boat as well. If so, I also heard that they were going to do a physical inspection on the containers; 2 of them. I think they released them and they showed up at the KK warehouse late last week. So maybe our waiting will payoff with a delivery soon.

And family time is even better.

Hey C6. Congrats on your buy!! I’m a newbie as well and expecting my 32 BB in a few days or so. I’m certainly not an expert and pretty sure there are others who could shout out. I ordered all my accessories at the same time I ordered my BB. If your ready to order the stuff, shipping it all together will definitely save $$. I also recommend that you order as much coco char and coffee char charcoal and coffee wood as you can buy. Again saving $$$. I know when I ordered mine, Dennis was really limited on both the charcoals, but maybe something has changed since then. Well, there you go. Congrats again!

There is a ton of info and knowledge in this forum. And a lot of people willing to help. It’s awesome! Did you get any accessories with yours?
