tinyfish Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 Today I cooked up some of the striploins that I aged in the Umai bags for 35 days. I rubbed the steaks last night with Cimarron Doc's Sweet Rib Rub. For the veggies I did some hassleback potatoes, corn in the husk and zucchinis. The steaks I cooked direct at 425f on the lower grill Now I sit down to eat
aiden Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 Love the zucchinis. I usually do my corn in the husk directly on the coals, but I may wind up doing it on the lower sear grate instead. More importantly, how did everything taste?

tinyfish Posted July 13, 2015 Author Report Posted July 13, 2015 tinyfish, you must be so stuffed after that gorgeous meal. Everything looks extra tasty Thanks MacKenzie but I cut out my pasta/rice course. I ate too much on vacation.
tony b Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 Yeah, right - no pasta, but how many hasslebacks did you eat! Nice cook!! If I had fridge space right now, I'd be all over those Umai bags!! Local corn is starting to show up at the roadside stands. I did ears each day over the weekend, straight onto the grill in the husks. Nothing better!!!
bryan Posted July 15, 2015 Report Posted July 15, 2015 Sure makes it easy to gain some weight. Great eye post. Yummmmy
