ckreef Posted February 9, 2016 Report Posted February 9, 2016 Great setup and great color. Looking forward to seeing more pictures. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT
PRippley Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 Love, love, love the color and the name, keep posting pictures! Ps for dragon name freaks (or in this case the mother of dragons) I just read a George R. R. Martin short story that is a "prequel" to the GOT series and there are many dragons named and described in the story. It is called "The Princess and The Queen" and it is in a collection of short stories by several authors called "Dangerous Women". ðŸ‰
tony b Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 several authors called "Dangerous Women". Would that be you and MacKenzie???
PRippley Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 That is funny tony! 😂 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Rick W. Posted February 25, 2016 Author Report Posted February 25, 2016 Does anyone have experience with the ThermoWorks ChefAlarm with high temp probe? They are having an open box sale and wondering how it might work with my KK Ultimate...
tony b Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 No, but I've owned 2 of their Thermapen instant read thermometers and they are excellent. I'd say go for it, as they don't do open box sales very often.
Rick W. Posted February 27, 2016 Author Report Posted February 27, 2016 Thanks Tony. I ordered one today so we'll see. I also got an 'open box' thermopen - it arrived in perfect condition. I have already made 2 'mistakes' by not watching the internal temp closely enough so I definitely need some technological assistance:). Someday, when I get over it, I'll post the story of my 10 dry-aged New York strips dinner party last weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rick W. Posted February 27, 2016 Author Report Posted February 27, 2016 Thanks Rippley - I'll have to add that to my reading list! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tony b Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 At $5, it probably isn't adjustable anyway? Is there a nut on the back that can be loosened and the shaft turned to adjust the dial?
Rick W. Posted February 27, 2016 Author Report Posted February 27, 2016 That I don't know. Will see when it arrives.
