  1. Rated PG13 A farmer purchased a rooster and was surprised at what an appetite for sex he had. First, he courted all the chickens on the farm. Then he was seen sowing his wild oats with the cows, sheep, pigs and turkeys. One day the farmer told him, “boy, if you don’t slow down, you’re going to kill yourself.” But it didn’t slow the rooster down at all. One day the farmer came out of his house and saw the rooster lying spread eagle, feet in air, and his tongue hanging out his mouth. The farmer was mad and walked up to him. “Dagnabbit, I told you that you’d kill yourself if you didn’t stop. Now you’re dead as a doornail and ready for rooster heaven, ya bird brain.” The rooster opened one eye and pointed up to the sky and said, “Shhhhhhh, buzzards!”

  2. Thanks Ken, I enjoy having the space in the backyard. I'm particular about how my grass is cut, so I just do it myself.

  3. I bought my first KK without seen one in person. I had read and researched so much about KK's that I was comfortable placing the order. Komodo, is simply the best kamado out there. Here is a little peak it my setup.

  4. The only retail I know about is direct from Dennis. I highly recommend a phone call to him. He will answer all your questions, fill you in on the details and there will be no pressure. I guarantee it. At least that is what happened to me.:) Don't settle for less.:)

  8. It feels like its been for ever since I lit up the KK's. I finally moved the KK's, pizza oven and Kj Jr onto the patio. I have to move them around a bit untill I find the perfect spot for everything. On to the baby backs. I rubbed them with Smokin Guns Mild Rub and cooked with some sugar maple and peach chunks. Not the fanciest cook but it was delicious.

  9. Hello, New to KK and new to this forum. Very, very interested in the kamado's here. I've never actually owned a smoker myself, but grew up around one, smoking turkey's every year with my father. Recently, after having some stellar mesquite-smoked prime rib in Chicago, I realized what was missing from my culinary life. So, I start looking into smokers. Kamado Jo - meh. Green eggs - meh. Then I stumble across some that are appealing works of art, eventually I stumbled into KK. So I share this with my wife, who has very refined taste (in all but her choice in men), and together we feel one of these would make a great piece to our beautiful mountain home. Problem is I'd actually like to SEE one in person. perhaps even in action if possible. So, are there any retail outlets for KK? Perhaps BBQ joints that have one of these as a showpiece? I've scoured Craigslist and Ebay, and they're slim for pickings. I'm very interested in one, just trying to do my due diligence here. Thanks from Arizona
