This month's challange over at the guru is a red meat appatizer.not sure if this counts but I'm going for it got some bone marrowthen mixed up a parsley shallot ,capers and lemon juice saladgave the marrow some twisted Qand on they goI then mixed up some parsley and evoo and lemon zest marrow is looking goodsliced up some crusty breadand spread the parsley mix over themmean while I made up a garlic shalot butter mixgave the marrow a baste with the garlic butter and threw on the bread oh yeah this tasted so awesome Outback Kamado Bar and Grill

  3. The fishman was in town at a local gas station and because I know this will be extra fresh I stopped buy and bought a package. All that salt block talk clicked in and I put mine in Little Ms. Pebbles and let it heat soak at 425F for nearly an hour. Then added the fish. Plated.

  5. Those ovens are getting more popular here to. The closest one is about a 25 min. drive, not too far, but I have a KK 8 feet from the dining room door. [emoji39][emoji6][emoji847]

  6. Gorgeous oven. We have a place not far from here that imported a wood fired pizza oven from Italy. Best pizzas in the whole area.

  13. This is a picture of a roast. The conference was for my (belated) 60th birthday along with my coauthor Mike Stillman. We're being roasted. I'm on the left; Mike is next in the red shirt. (Just now on the phone I had a great conversation with Dennis.)
