  1. It's ANZAC day down here a public holiday to pay respect for those that gave so much .I paid my respect at the dawn service .then had a gun fire brekkie at my local RSL club and a few shots of rum .now time to prepare dinner .gave the ribs a trim..then sprinkled some ipa on the bottom..and some apple on top..BonFire suggested trying some apple on some watermelon so I did yum..and on it goes over jam and peach..I'm going to let these ride for 3 hours then foil with butter some rub and either honey or maple and some apple cider then sauce. 3 hours in..I decided to butter so foil..add a bit more apple rub..then some maple syrup..ribs meat side down the little ribs crisped up..then some apple cider ..wrapped and ready for another hour. .4 hours in unwrapped. .ready for some sauce..gave the bottom a slather..then the top..letting it bake in for 20 min..ribs are ready to rest...and ready to go. .flipped it for easy carving..upright for presentation lol...and some salad in the middle.. .. 3. Hi guys, Have any of you that have had a KK delivered in Oz had any issues with the delivery driver not being able / willing to wheel the crate down a driveway with a slight incline? I was speaking to a friend the other day who deals with delivery drivers all the time and heavy objects and he mentioned that by law they are within their rights to drop the crate at the top of the driveway and nothing else. I’m sure it will be fine as my drive isn’t that steep but wondered if it would be worth borrowing a pallet jack from said friend just in case for delivery day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Thanks Aussie, I’ll definitely be helping him, mine will be the same as I’m getting the back wall of the garage installed with a double gate so it should be nice and easy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Great looking ribs, Aussie! I agree they look extremely meaty. I don't ever see any that look like that around here.

  9. I hope so, Dennis said he would send pics of the Terra Blue units through when it got closer to the time, because I’m still 5 weeks away from ordering he’ll probably have shipped the ones that are there at present to the states. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. I'll let you know when mine arrives...got a slight incline going down at my place as well. The vessel shipping mine is in tomorrow, reckon the cargo discharge and the load back usually takes around a day and a bit, quick question for KK owners in W.A. how long after landing did you get it delivered home.

  19. Mine was dead easy through the garage to the back patio .the bloke had no issues I helped him push it .unless you get some dropkick which I doubt you will be fine if your willing to help or even just take control .but if you don't want to help and expect one man to struggle down the hill . if I was delivering it I would leave it on the curb lol .most delivery drivers are acomadating if you are . Don't stress I know this is an exciting time but it will work out if you need a hand let me know Outback kamado Bar and Grill

  20. In the states these grills were on backorder for a number of years. Early this year when it looked like they were going to finally come off of backorder I pre ordered mine. I probably got one of the very first ones coming out of the container. A friend on the Guru forum ordered one recently. His is expected by end of April. Fingers crossed that yours arrives shortly. Me and Mrs skreef always have a good time cooking and eating this style. I just need to get a bunch more recipes under my belt.

  21. Hi people, sorry been busy of late but a quick update. Ended up getting the BB32 TBlue, Dennis's team sent me 2pics a few days ago (we all like pics), loaded in a 20' container and vessel should be entering Singapore as we speak. Also been busy prepping a spot for it, transplanting repotting, bit of paving re-aligning and some more garden lighting Will get more pics when it arrives, cheers all
