  1. Nice to meet you. Yeah, your "the luckiest woman in the world" joke made me chuckle every time. lol. Looking forward to the video.
  2. Hi Larry, If you are the same "LarryR" from the youtube videos, Dennis probably owes you some sort of commission check for my KK purchase.
  3. It's an 18 inch sheet pan I got at Costco for pretty cheap this past summer. There are two in a pack. For some reason I took a picture of it so here you go. I didn't buy it for this but it fits perfect on the lower rack
  4. Thanks everybody. Red stick, They were fantastic!
  5. Benton, What is the difference between the main great and the searing grate? I thought those were the same thing so I may need to refresh my terminology. Thanks.
  6. I don't like having a shop back permanently in the yard, but it is much more quick and convenient. Plus it's reversible so I've also got a handy blower available any time which is great.
  7. Thanks MacKenzie. I decided to match up the meat with the drip pan. I think it was a good idea except three racks of ribs overlapped the sides of the drip pan so I got a little crispy on the bottom, outside edges where the sugar in the rub burned. Next time I will stack them up on two levels. Looks great on top though: For now, we are foiled!
  8. Here's the materials list: Put the ribs in at around 190° and slowly brought them up to 275 over the last two hours and 30 minutes. Here is a in progress shot.
  9. Tell me more about this tool please.
  10. You'll like it. I've done them as high as 350 and they are great.
  11. I took Myron Mixon's cooking class last year. For those that don't know he's by far the most winningest man competitive barbecue and kind of known for his brisket. It's not exactly a secret that he cooks brisket hot and fast, but here's photographic proof for those who are curious.
  12. Though I have never used the rotisserie for the KK, I've used these exact EZ-Que rotisseries (The name of the original manufacture) for other grills. If the motor spins the wrong direction, there is a chance that (instead of spinning the basket) the threaded rod in the side of the rotisserie will unscrew and the basket will fall off. The quick and easy way to fix the reversed motor problem (at least with other One Grill rotisserie motors I've had) is just to put the batteries in backwards. Not joking, it works!
  13. I bought a vacuum with drywall bag as well. It's quick and easy because the vac lives outside. I'm curious how people clean with a brush and pan on a 23 without making a mess or getting their clothes dirty?
  14. Congratulations to you both. How exciting! I can't wait to see the pictures.
  15. That looks amazing. My wife and I have been wanting to make soup forever but it's still hot here...gonna get up to almost 95 degrees F this week.
  16. Yeah, you had me at "Making a batch of tortillas" as well.
