  2. Re: New Chicago area pallet share Ha! I got a good laugh from that one Sanny! At any rate the Charcoal is here. The forklift was MIA, thankfully the driver had a liftgate and offloaded for me. Could have used two OXEN to help me bring it inside! Oh well I'm working off last nite's pizza!
  3. Re: New Chicago area pallet share Should be here around noon today. I'll have two oxes set aside for you.
  4. Re: New Chicago area pallet share Contact Dennis about that...I have no idea.

  15. Re: Komodo availability - Good & Bad News There is a family from Brisbane that seem very interested! You should expect a call/email soon! ;-D
  16. Re: Future KK owner looking to touch and feel your KK! Ummm, hey that's me! I've got 3 pork butts on right now! Stop in any Saturday for some great pulled pork samples! And slow cooked ribs later in the day! Just got back from Montana(no BBQ!) we will be hard at it until parents weekend in October! I've been requested to bring ribs and pulled pork when we visit!
  17. Re: Easy Peasy Pork Butt Great photo and great Komodo! The Doc is correct, the water isn't necessary, and only consumes energy(heat). The beauty of this unit is the reduced airflow, resulting in low moisture loss. Flipping...same story, looks like you had great results however, next time try it without the water or flipping. I think you'll be very happy! Nice work with the beans, some day I've got to try this!
  18. Re: Syzygies's pork butt: what went wrong? I concur Doctor!
  19. Re: Three Extruder Machines are in the House! There was a tale told of some long lost cococoal in a secluded warehouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I think I missed the boat in getting there!
  20. Re: Three Extruder Machines are in the House! Sorry, just saw your reply, I was checking back on the arrival date as well!I'm going to be retailing the coal as soon as I can get my little paws on it!I don't get down to Moline very much, I usually take a northern route through Clinton or Dubuque when visiting family back in C.R. I'll let you know when I get some!
  21. Re: Three Extruder Machines are in the House! Looking forward to hearing from you when the CocoCoal arrives! I'm sure I will take a couple pallets when you're ready!
  22. Re: I'm interviewed about KK on Kingsford's Grilling.com Outstanding interview Dennis! And that Kingsford model is pretty cool!

  24. Re: Bison (buffalo) grilling tips Since we have discovered my oldest daughters food sensitivities(no beef, pork, chicken, sometimes lamb, her own level of Hell being a butchers daughter!) we have been grilling a lot of bison/buffalo. With the use of a Jaccard machine(you can find the small hand held ones at some restaurant supply houses for $20/$30 )I've been grilling ribeyes and new york strips frequently! I treat them as a beef steak and the results are amazing!Loving the burgers too!don't be afraid of grilling bison! The flavor is fantastic and the health benefits are a plus!
